The teams in the play offs (3 Viewers)

Looking at the teams who ended up finishing in the play offs, it’s a bit fitting, I think we are better than all of them on our day. I feel over the season we had a bit of bad luck with injuries and when games were postponed because of Covid. I feel if we had played Luton when we were meant to we would have beaten them.
Hopefully next season we will be in the top 6

You have to admit Forrest had an amazing change of form after they sacked their manager, and sheffield utd took their time to adjust to the championship. Credit to both clubs for making the playoffs, but if either of them make it up, they will face a daunting task to stay there.

We didn’t make the play-offs because we weren’t good enough. It’s no good blaming bad luck.

We should have been in the top 6, but ran out of gas in the end. Thought Blackburn, Middlesboro and QPR would make it at one point and to see teams like Sheff Utd, Luton and Forest storm in the last few months shows that we lacked the consistency needed to make the cut. Obviously the Jan window served these other teams well and we lacked the depth needed, suffered injuries, COVID-related postponements as suggested above etc. We made the 2nd set of 6 teams after being in the 3rd set last season. Hope we make the top 6 next season.

Only took 8 points from a possible 24 against the play off teams

On our day we can beat anyone but clearly weren't on our day enough

Any club who goes up faces a daunting task.

Correct, we weren’t consistent enough. We battered Fulham then lost for a while after that. We seem to pick up points against good teams and not against the ones we should.

Signing Bright and not Paterson or Twine is what cost us as O’Hare needed rests which he didn’t get and we couldn’t finish our dinner. Numerous times we played teams out the park but then would lose
