Second great defensive display I've seen in 2 nights Spurs last night and Wycombe tonight just shows the game is not just abour great attacking there were some old heads in a great Wycombe defence none better than two 36 yearold in Stockdale and Joe Jacobson who made sure MK Dons were not going to get a second.

Did well. but 99% certain to get relegated next season.

Will wait and see how many if any clubs get fresh points deductions and financial meltdowns before making a prediction.

Yes - nearly mentioned that - if there are a couple of clubs that get hit, it might give them a slight chance, along with the other 2 who come up.

I think Wigan will probably stay up. Rotherham I expect to go down, and hopefully Wycombe come up to take the other place. I’m convinced Birmingham’s time is up too - so that should be our goal of staying up sorted

Some talk about a Blues takeover, but with the condition of their ground, I wouldn't have thought they were very attractive.

Didn’t they go down because Derby didn’t get the points deducted they should gave

They only came up due To COVID it’s very unlikely they’d have made the play offs

What about the other end Everton, Leeds, Burnley and Southampton not 100% out of it but unlikely. Of the four Burnley would be the weakest but I fear for Leeds now they are in the bottom three.

They only got into the play offs due to O’Hare missing that sitter against birmingham

It wasn’t they it’s the fact they were In a downturn of form and the quirk of the ppg system kept them just in the playoffs. Our game against them if went ahead would have kept them out

That’s what pissed the Peterborough chairman off Wycombe played one game less so survived on the ratio of games per points rule and their missing game would have been at the time all conquering us away.

That’s my point. O’Hare puts that chance away, we beat them when we were supposed to play them on the replay date.

I never subscribed to the unlucky Wycombe because they shouldn’t have been there in the first place

No but Sunderland and Peterborough arguably did
Posh sorted it out by going and getting promoted the next year.

There were always going to be winners and losers from it but it was the only way to go about it in the end.

It's like Tranmere saying they were certainly going to go on and win most of the rest of their games but yet they can't even make the top 7 in L2 in the following two years.

Time to see who plays Wycombe in the final. Alex Neil saying they're going to take it to Wednesday so hopefully a nice open game

Has anyone else wondered why Sunderland aren't in their away kit ? Both colour and white striped shirts and black shorts. No wonder the Ref screwed up the pen claim in the first half.
