Think one is from the Dutch league as Robins was there watching a game recently
Don't know any more than that I'm afraid

Mats Knoester was mentioned at one point as the player who may have been over to see us play. Left footed central defender from what I've seen of him (which admittedly isn't a huge amount). Positionally that'd certainly make sense.

@better days or @Skybluebeliever any news on the 1,2 or 3 incomings which Robins was on about, any closer to public eyes or any insight on who it may he if you arent 100% sure? (If you are able to share)
The ones I was aware of
A defender from top premiership team, a young striker who played in championship last season and an exciting attacking midfielder
I think they are lining everything up with getting players out

Any insights to whether they are permanent or loan signings?

Cam Archer, Elliot Anderson, Cameron Humpreys and George Cox all are good options. But think we still need a few out the door trimming the wage bill is key.

We need a CM even if Hamer stays. We have no cover for him at all and barely any cover for Sheaf of a decent standard.
Maybe, but we've got other positions we're even shorter on and so they've got to be sorted first. No point spending wages on a squad CM when we need a first choice CB and LWB.

And too injury prone, already have Godden for the role of high scoring can only play up to half a season striker
Yeah, but if we got Wilson then we've got two high scoring strikers who can only play for half a season, which adds up to a whole season.

Cardiff just signed Ebou Adams from Forest Green, who I would've liked here

I go up to FGR quite a lot. They have a few key players from their league winning squad out of contract. Adams was a great League 2 midfielder with tones of energy and an eye for goal. Would have definitely taken a punt but Lg2 to Champ is a big step up without a year in Lg1.

Kane Wilson also out of contract is the.one player who looks to have all the attributes needed. Shame he is a RB.

If Matty Stevens their top scorer hadn't got a major injury I'd have suggested him. Looks a different player to most of the big lumps usually playing up top in Lg2. He is an ex boxer but not just a huge battering ram. Would have been a good addition to what we currently have and a good back up for Gyok.

The defender from a top premier league team could be Harwood-Bellis from Man City? Purely a guess but he will be nowhere near their first team next season and is a footballing centre half so would suit our style

This was the player I thought of as well. Was on loan at Blackburn at some stage I believe.
