But Torch, you said on another post earlier in this thread something like a 'younger League manager for you', or words to that affect. Have I misread something or not got your joke?!
Lower leagues? There's only one below us now.
We want and we need experience. Having another inexperienced manager is not a good idea. Who here thinks it would be a good idea to have an inexperienced manager again?

So this time no trainees, no lower league success stories untried at clubs as big as Coventry. this calls for someone with some credentials at the very least. I've already suggested a few and we do never the less have to be realistic but those names start to roll off the tongue for me...Curbishley, Davies and a handful of others.
Those with "credentials" tend to have jobs in the Premiership or upper Championship clubs. The unemployed among them have earned the right to - and expect - substantial transfer budgets and payroll to work with.
Fisher took pride in saying that the club is among the top two for payroll this season; it is difficult to see additional bags of money being made available. And on that basis, it's hard to see a manager with a successful history come here.
Not so sure AT can either without toppling over.
Sorry but I fail to see where you can form this opinion as opposed to mine.
This club is more attractive to managers than just about anyone else bar a handful outside the premier league. That IS a massive factor.

jimmy can set the tactics and shaw could do the running around. otherwise get in alan hanson as he would tell the defence what they need to do not to concede a lead
Alan 'I'm Too Chicken for Management' Hansen?
Where did you get this from Matty ,thought TF just hovered around "Other Factors " and repeated the unacceptable "Losing /drawing From winning positions",linei wonder how much of the reason thorn was sacked was for his refusal to drop the bonus/contract rebels and for actually telling a few not to sign the deal in front of them.
