I wouldn't say he's terrible. Had a decent spell where everyone was saying he was better than Dabo. If he's not a fit them move him on but it's hardly been a disaster.
Agree. Don’t think Kane’s been terrible and with the fixture congestion next season, it may be useful to keep him in the squad. However, I’m not aware of any new off-field/dressing room issues with him. Think he was already on thin ice to begin with. If he can be replaced with a younger, better player, I’m okay with that too.

Would like more than Izzy brown in that position personally

Yeah I was hoping for a goalscorer and someone with potential. It’s one of those positions that young players can make a big impact.

Brown doesn’t look like a goalscorer and hasn’t set the world alight where he’s been and isn’t likely to get any better.

Watching Forest yesterday it really struck me how they had got maximum use out of the loan system this season now gone. Yesterday they played loanees Zinckernagel, Garner, Spence, Davis and Lowe, without whom they would have struggled to challenge. We only brought in Maatsen and Clarke-Salter who were both good signings. If we could have had another 3 of that standard across other areas of the team, I suspect that our squad would have remained resiliant enough to have remained in the Top 6 ourselves.

Anyhow moral of the story is that I suspect our success or otherwise of next season will be more likely to do with how we play the loan market, than any permanent signings we make. One I would like to see us go for based on his short cameo against us was Anjorin, who Huddersfield don't seem to have given much chance to. Was very surprised when they were chasing the game yesterday that he didn't get on.

It's very gambly though isn't. If they didn't go up there squad would be looking threadbare for a shot at promotion next season. Sort of like Mowbray in 16-17 after losing all the star loans.

Problem with a team of loanees is if they don't click, you end up developing other teams' players, and getting no compensation for them when they inevitably bugger off after a year.

At least whether Gyokeres, O'Hare and Hamer go is under our control, and if they do leave we get compensated for it.

Would love us to go for Anjorin. Such a talented player.

Anjorin is a player id be more than happy with and i think Chelsea would see value in him coming to us. It would not be a shock if he is a target and whatever capacity in contract im sure he would add quality and depth to our squad. All things are possible and deals can be arranged to suit all parties, loan to buy, price set on promotion, sell on clauses on future sales or just straight loan.

Stranger things have happened and we are now looked at by the big clubs as a place players can develop in a very good environment. I hope its him, but wouldn't be to upset with
Palmer to be honest, if we are going on Chelsea link.

He never was, and never will be anywhere near Dabo’s standard. The only reason Dabo’s level of performance dropped, was because he was playing with an injury.

Its Izzy Brown isnt it 😑, can't see it being Palmer after Cardiff pulled out signing because of his wages
MR is being allowed to get his transfers in early to ensure he gets them rather than having to get players of the payroll first to fund these

Waghorn, Walker and Kane being loaned will go a long way to funding new players as well as the potential sale of Hamer .Jones and Shipley already gone as will a few players that have been out on loan last season
