First series of Underbelly now available free on the firestick.
About the Melbourne drug wars in the 80s and 90s. Great show. Lots of shagging as well for the perverts among us!

If you like a blood and guts movie with a slightly different angle then have a watch of Lasso on Prime.

I'd forgot the car crash, that's my other issue. It starts the season so you're waiting for that to happen for ages and then all that actually happens is that they have to get a taxi home? What the hell. If it was a quick fix way to suddenly get Jonah back on the family's side in time for the end it's pretty lazy stuff
Finally watched this last night and I have to disagree.

I think it leads you to think that’s how they die and is a major part when it’s not and almost a tease. Plus Jonah was already back on board by then.

I have to say I really wanted Wendy to die in the end and it was inevitable that Ruth would.

Overall really enjoyed it.

I’ve been watching The Terror: Infamy on BBC iPlayer.

It’s started off alright. Seemed to have good reviews and is allegedly based on true events…clearly it’s not as it’s about ghosts and the like.

Inside No. 9 was really quite sad last night.

Is that the one about the ship with Ciaran Hinds? Really enjoyed that.

Pistol is good

Had mixed reviews but watched the first one and really enjoyed it.
Read Steve Jones book Lonely boy which its based on and it captures the mood of the book really well.
Also it reminds you how bleak the 70s were, it really was a grim decade.

started to watch the 3rd series of Borgen on Netflix - excellent plot build up but make sure you change from dubbed soundtrack to Danish and subtitles as the dubbed talking has no emotion and no accuracy

Dr Helen Fry was on BBC Four the other night Wed/Thurs taking a data driven look at treatments for cancer having recently discovered she had Cervical.

Secondly the recent plethora of house flipping/Giveaway style shows on C4 seem highly exploitative in several case's.
Especially when the contestants become suddenly informed/responsible for all kinds of fee's associated with the purchase and subsequent selling often between £10K-£20K of not an initial generous budget plus purchase often 50%-100% over the guide price .😠

Just watched ‘Der Hauptmann’ (The Captain), a film from 2017 about the true story of a young German soldier who finds the uniform of a Luftwaffe captain and uses it to take command of a concentration camp. English subtitles, very interesting watch.
