Think it'd be weird for wasps to relay the pitch whilst begging for money to stay solvent

I thought the pitch actually played quite well last season.

Also something to think about is that there won’t be as many games played Nov - Dec due to the World Cup

No, last year when the return to the arena was confirmed, there was a vague comment about relaying the pitch next (this) summer, though I'd imagine that is subject to investment from both parties neither of whom have got a pot to piss in

Fair enough, I must of missed that.

Maybe with the mid season break this year they decided to push the renovations back a season hoping the break would allow the grass to repair.

Maybe it has, but then I suppose it was a generally mild winter and the pitch held up OK on the whole so they've reprioritised

Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it but I think we all know Wasps aren't in a position to be throwing money at anything. Prepare for another season of a poor pitch and promises being made that things will improve.

Maybe it will be a Boris Johnson type relaying of the pitch? Get a box of grass seed from B&M for a couple of quid, chuck some around and say "I got it done."

I thought it wasn't possible after the last few years of pre-season but I have to say that the hysterics this year are already reaching whole new levels.

I once did a 72hr pool and darts marathon for charity, anything’s possible if you put your mind to it and take enough speed Sadly there is no video.
