Already mentioned above, but

Fulham have made a 10m euros (£8.6m) offer for Manchester United's Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira.

It makes you wonder if someone heard (chinese whispers) Brazilian, midfielder, £9million and jumped to the Hamer conclusion.

In your opinion yes

Read a comment saying being able to run a game isn’t that unique a quality, which is strange

I like o hare but he’s not on the level of Gus yet even though they play different positions

It isn’t though tbf.

In a lot of games there is a player who runs it

And spoiler alert; it isn’t always the one pinging the Hollywood passes.

All players have there price at every club and robins will replace them when they leave. What is important that he gets a lot of the fee to reinvest.

Bloody Hell… so he’s not going after all.,…do you know how long it took me to try and remove Hamer off the back of my sons shirt. Only managed 3 letters…. He’s going to look a right narcissist with ME on his back.

Fulham i dont think was ever going to be the destination for Hamer. My guess if it happens Brighton will be the landing spot for him, but if he is happy at the club and the fee wanted is not matched id be more than happy to see him stay.

Keep our big 3 this season (big if) and sign/loan a quality LWB and a quality Left sided centre back. Would be delighted with the window.

The big 3 are only going to get better. Will bank on one of them having a ridiculous season.

It really is. He's been here two seasons of which his ill discipline on the pitch has cost us what, 8-9 games without him due to suspension plus the last 6 games he was on 14 cards so played well within himself when we needed him most. For me he never hit the heights of his early promise and second half of season 1 he was actually quite poor.

But because he's got a catchy song he's a legend

I agree with this somewhat. I really like Hamer and I’d rather he stay, but he is idolised on here and im confused as to why. When he’s good, he’s good but he can go missing in games and gets booked every game. He has lots to improve on.

Hamer gets booked often because of the role he has to play and position he plays. He is pretty good at not getting booked once he has already been booked.

Just because someone is not getting on the ball doesnt mean they are out of the game or not contributing.

Try watching the whole pitch and all the players rather than just following the ball.

If he goes he will be hard to replace. But you are right there is room for improvement and I think he is more likely to than O'Hare.

Robin's will be lucky to get 2m even if Hamer goes for 10m.

I do watch the players, not just the ball. I understand the game. You have on the ball, off the ball. Whilst I rate him, he has a hell of a lot to improve on. I don’t agree he plays a position that means he’ll get booked as often as he does! He gets booked because his positioning at times is poor and he is half a second off the pace.

He can be naive at times. He’s a ‘good’ central midfielder with a terrible disciplinary record that needs sorting.
I’d even say he could be replaced with a better player that gives us a better season output than he does in 15/20 games.

Most of his bookings were for totally unncessary things. As you say he's good at not getting booked once he has been, so why doesn't he just not do the stupid things that do get him booked in the first place? Then he won't have to play the rest of the game trying not to get booked.

I feel he has less booking toward the end of the season may be wrong.
Gint 11 who do you think is the "better player that gives us a better season output"? Without spending big money.

There will be plenty of central midfielders who perform consistently over a season then Hamer, and wouldn’t miss 2 games every 10 from bookings. My point is, Hamer is brilliant one week, missing the next. He’s a talent, but has improvements to make. If he was premier league quality right now, he’d be in it.

I love Hamer. Class player, who last season was the most capable of stepping upto a higher level. I know he’s been aware of general interest in him from other clubs for a while, but I just want this to be over quickly. If any deal / interest falls through, we don’t want a bitter or distracted player. History tells us that they’re less effective, lose value….

Remember Mifsud was supposed to go (Bristol City?), made some ridiculous demands, they pulled out and his career went down the drain

Though looking at some of the dross we went for around that time we seemed to give in to ridiculous demands and send careers down the drain anyway
