Absolutely agree. However, I read an article where Kompany said something along the lines that they have one year to get back up or they may fall back down the table. Youth is a great strategy for long-term sustainability, but a bit of a gamble for an immediate return to the top flight.

Watched him in the play off semi he was ineffectual ..(wycombe did a job on him) in the biggest game of the season he flopped. players in the championship are bigger stronger quicker and not to mention a bit cleverer. A bit like how Ohare gets kicked every game.

I think he comes across well in this, he’ll be a good manager and no doubt will have learnt a lot from Pep but that’s a Burnley squad very much in Dyches image and you won’t be able to change it over night.

Maybe. Be interesting to see if Kompany is the right choice to get them up right away. Dyche I think probably would have got them promoted with a much different approach. Thought Sheff Utd would batter their way up last year but turned out to be more of a cultured footballing side which surprised me.
