It's really an unknown at the moment I guess. It depends what we get for any given player.
What is the first thing that happens when a club has money to spend? The price of players they are interested in goes up.
Under Sisu we have always pleaded poverty, only to then find some money.
I doubt if even MR knows what he will get to spend if we sell someone, and if he did he wouldn't advertise it.

Is that true? Genuinely can you provide a quote because I swear that was one thing misinterpreted and then repeated as truth

I don’t think so , think the sale will put money back into club/Sisu to “catch up” from the last 2/3 seasons , we haven’t sold a player for a couple of seasons and we budget to sell one a year and with covid etc . Think MR understands this but if he needs to bring players in future windows he has a bit of collateral . I think if more than one goes this would change

Yeah fair enough. To me they reads more like opinion than an inside scoop but I’ll concede i didn’t remember reading that one

Believer is pretty good but I'd be amazed if that knowledge there was anything other than guesswork. They'd have to be seen to put something back in surely.

Even if it's just an opinion or guesswork it's probably not far from the truth.

It's been exhausted I know but EFL loan looming, instalments on Gyokeres and Sheaf to pay, interest to SISU, Ryton pitches, bonuses for players and staff, unsustainable contracts for O'Hare and Hamer as well as improved contracts for Godden, Allen and Hyam and general operating costs to cover.

It's clear that there is very little wiggle room as it stands so really whilst it wouldn't be a great look there might not be an alternative for the club.

If our owners put nothing back in from say, an £8 million sale, they can go fuck themselves frankly.

I assume they’d take a few million to pay off the last couple of years losses and reinvest the rest.

Thought i'd let you know what i've been told. I know a lad that is out their on the tour and apparently O'hare packed up his stuff and headed to the airport this afternoon. Common sense tells you an offer has been accepted and he's flying home to get personal terms sorted. One of the ITK's said he'd be getting a wage of roughly 50K a week. Can't blame the lad. Let's hope we can get an adequate replacement in. Gutted

Cheers for passing it on mate. Always spot on with your info so will expect this to be done by the start of next week.

Yeah, me too. Let's hope Palmer's blisters are healed in time else we'll have Jamie Allen and Wagehorn fighting for the number 10 shirt.

I've heard we are paying whatever we save on O'hare's wages into a new contract for Waghorn.

Hope there's enough baggage handlers to get the plane away.
