Newcastle promoting a kit dedicated to their Saudi oil barons, with some random gambling company smeared on the front. Modern football in a nutshell. Managed to get a few female players in there as well, supporting a country that treats women as second class citizens.

Majority of their fanbase has become completely insufferable on social media too, couple that with the Arab and African 'fans' they've acquired and they've become almost as embarrassing as Man City rather quickly.
Fucking hate modern football and if I didn't love my club I could happily leave the sport behind I think.

Pretty much in the same place, not much is the same from what I liked about it growing up and even then that was during the Sky era.

If this was Cov I would stop supporting them.

Richarlison has signed for Spurs in a deal worth up to £60M.

His goal scoring record at Everton was pretty good.

Be interesting how it works with him, Son, Kane, Kulusevic and Peresic.

Perisic will be playing at wing back as I understand.

Richarlison probably gives good cover/rotation across the front 2 or 3 depending on the system played. I know it’s a lot to spend on something like that but they’re probably wary of not wanting to burn Kane and/or Son out this season and having adequate cover. Still got Moura as well haven’t they?

Forgot about Moura!

Certainly got goals in that team!

May I add my reading and comments on this thread are all pretty much geared towards helping me work out who I’m picking in my Dream Team this year. 🤓

Looking at Wiki, these are the 29 year olds playing for London clubs who's national team is going to the world Cup. I believe Tottenham have said its none of their players.

Crystal Palace
Jordan Ayew Ghana
Sam Johnston England

Tottenham
Ben Davies Wales

If the player lives in Barnet it's most like Spurs or Arse
