Sunderland supporting mate reckons he's quality, tailed off towards the end of the season but he's still a young kid so to be expected. Quite excited about him.

"Nice lad who I'm sure will make it, but I'm surprised Coventry have taken him."

"I'm not. That is the pool they will be buying out of. Our squad already looks miles better than theirs."

allways worth a lol

There's a fair amount of delusion about the strength of their squad on there.

Decent signing I would imagine will be used as a rotational player considering his age and experience .. can't see him starting but we need depth , I'd imagine we will help develop his career further ..welcome

Ah yes , a squad that came 5th in league 1 .. unless they've a brand new team I think they need to reign it in a bit

I hope not I've just been winding him up on there 😂

Ah it's you lol , weird how they believe our squad is so poor .. we walked league 1 when they had a stronger team than they did last season and they finished 5th last year ..

Strange bunch , were a good footballing side

Yeah I get notifications from their threads sometimes. Some of them are realistic but some of them really do still have delusions of grandeur

It’s a testament to Robins we’re being trusted by one of, if not the best manager in the world to look after one of his young’ens

Tbh probably looking for a solid Championship season and sell him on for a couple of million. See Maatsen. You have to be borderline world class to play for them two

I don't think pep looks after the u23 lads at Man city , I believe although I may be wrong, they have somebody separate who manages and loans them out

Big difference, Maatsen is 20 and Doyle is 1

Chelsea are is a notoriously difficult place for a young player to make in-roads into the first team where as it’s an area City are trying to work upon

Be foolish to suggest City are ready to just cast him off upon his return when he’ll only be 19

It's a good point. Makes you wonder what their plans are for the likes of Delap and Palmer

Mind you , hard to take a fanbase seriously that thinks our players are shite yet some of theirs are excited at the prospect of signing the prolific striker that is ravel Morrison , absolute melts

They might be deluded on their own prospects but they're not wrong on one thing, we're scraping the loan barrel because we've been scooped by clubs with a few quid

Andy Turner claims we beat Sunderland to him, to me that would seem unlikely considering Neil didn’t play him and they’ve signed a £2m centre half
