We are doing well. Lets all cheer SISU . The owners who have taken millions in management charges, and interest. And made zero investment in the club.
Yes let’s forgive and forget. Three cheers for SISU .

Jesus H. We’re not owned by a bored billionaire that doesn’t think twice about spunking millions. SISU are a hedge fund and they answer to investors. Their job is to get best value with least outlay.

It is what it is

oh come on, if the rumours are to be believed and we do sell cal to them wankers up north, we are one player being sold . i.e Gyökeres, from truly being fucked and maybe relegation, regardless of who we sign

I shall never trust our self interested owners. What they have done to this club has been scandalous at times. All that said , I do have faith in the football management side of the club and hopefully we can still be competitive.
You would have hoped Championship money, increased revenue from sponsorship, hospitality etc coupled with record ST sales and record shirt sales will be helping our finances…..

I agree with what you say. But if the ITK’s are right what comes in will be largely, if not wholly swallowed up by SISU what then ?
Only good management is keeping our heads above water. How long before they think “sod this for a lark, I’m off.”

Doubt it, I imagine one will go at some point but the pre bed wetting on here is hilarious as people believe anything that paints the club in a negative light for some reason and then ignore the positive stuff (or try and find a reason that it's bad) I just don't get that mentality

On the flip side, you do also have those people preferring to use the 'Panic GIF' on repeat instead of engaging in healthy discussion when the subject matter is about something which isn't all ponies and fairytales ;)

Does healthy discussion involve believing everything negative written on Twitter and ignoring the positives?

I'm all for proper discussion but when it always devolves into bet wetting and "boo Sisu" with no actual facts, stupid GIFs actually make more sense and are more beneficial to the conversation

Sisu are fine owners in the lower leagues where you can only operate based on your income anyway.

This level you need more.

Not Mel Morris, just not extracting income from the club would be a start let alone a bit of modest investment.

I can’t believe anybody would disagree with that.

Well Robins signed a new deal literally a couple of months ago so that to me says he continues to believe in the project and how we are going about it.

I think we are handling things very well from a football point of view. And have done for the last 5 years.

Some posters more senior than me may well remember the Premier League days, sadly I do not, but we can all remember L2 which wasnt very long ago, so to even be in this position now shows great strides in the right direction and yes we all want to go up. But we are about to embark on our 3rd season back in the Championship. People reference Brentford as an example to try and emulate. Well it took them 7 seasons before they went up.

Whatever happens will happen, but unlike the past, I feel we have sold and replaced our best players in recent seasons very well and I back the recruitment to do that again IF one of them is sold.

Chilling out mainly, away from online chat sites and the likes……became too addictive, time consuming and sometimes political. The love for the Sky Blues has always been there however.
Your chilling out days will be long gone if you're back here!

Different owners wouldn’t be stacking up loans against us at 17 %

Look at the debts some clubs have. There are lots of shit owners out there. SISU are shit owners. So are most other owners.

I cant control the clubs owners anymore than the shit governments I have had to live most of my life under.

And so far there has been a lot of moaning and drama about what might happen rather than what has happened.

Agree. But what about the previous owners. What about CCC input in where we are?

It is a labyrinth of shit. Like most clubs are having to deal with.

I think he was talking about Robins and Viveash going, not SISU.
At least someone read the post. Look monkey, I am too old and too long in the tooth to go over the SISU debate again.
There have been a multitude of posts on the matter, with qualified accountants who understand it far better than me contributing detailed explanations with plenty of facts and figures.
In summary,SISU since they arrived have made zero investment in the club bar short term loans to aid cash flow.
They make excessive ” management “ charges , then pile that onto the debt and charge extortionate interest rates.
Go back and spend some time familiarising yourself with posts from Older Sky Blue and others.
Read and digest the facts and figures they took the trouble to slave through, so that fans not as knowledgeable as them could begin to understand how this hedge fund operates.
I recommend it, you will have all the facts and figures you want. You can then make your decision on SISU based on what has actually gone on since they forced all the shareholders to hand over their shares for nothing.

The owners are not going to be ever loved by the majority, mostly down to the pretty cavalier attitude towards what owning a club meant when they 1st came in. And what it does to a community if you disregard its history and its importance to the area. In my mind they are tolerated and in some cases even ignored by the majority, who just want to watch a good side show desire and passion to wear the shirt. While they stay quiet and allow MR to do his job most fans just want to support the players and the process set by MR.

What i do see and don't like is the fans could not have done more, they have been more faithful than any other set of supporter in the land. And if it wasn't for them i dread to think where we would be. MR has built this with his hands tied, his acceptance of restrictions i respect but the
desire to make it work while under this, is only matched by the fans desire to not let us die.

I don't expect the owners to be reckless or be in front of the fans explaining everything. But i except them to show us they have the ability and desire to support at any given time to help MR progress. Even a calculated gamble to take us to the next level if we are a league position to do so would be nice.

I just see and hear its up to the fans to push us on, the more ST sold the more MR has to spend was always spouted. Well that i haven't heard said this year. That talk has gone away, fans have broke records in ST, Jerseys and this year will be i think the highest av attendance at home since we got into the stadium. So for fans to ask we done our part, we have done what you asked, what now is a fair question to ask..

Again, it is relevant. Harder to replace than a McNulty/Walsh - yes. Impossible to find a decent replacement and progress - no.

Its not the same as we were selling up tbe leagues and could buy more than adequate replacements for the league we are in

McNulty was sold and we could easily by a competitive replacement in godden

Selling o hare and replacing with with a free transfer in the championship is a much harder proposition

Absolutely agree with all of that. CCC's prefered buyers of CCFC.

But nobody has found a way to get rid of them? So you either desert your club because of the owners or support your club and try and ignore the owners.

Other owners arent a ticket to a perfect world. Other clubs are being shafted too.

Hedge funds and sports clubs. Hedge funds and pubs. They fuck everything up.
