It's not the fees that matter particularly, it's the overall wage bill and the size of the squad. Fees either way are usually pretty marginal I would think in the normal course of events. If we want to reduce the losses then we have to sell a player or two for a good profit (we've done no business of that kind since McCallum) as well as trying to generate new revenue streams to boost income.

Far too logical for the bedwetters

Others clubs owners actually put investment into the club - we get Tim starting a university course

I hope so but let's see. Maybe the equation changed when Tyler reported back. I'm guessing that he (Tyler) might play on the left later in games as in the Forest match...

What message this sends to the other valuable members of the squad I'm not sure. What I am sure of is those at the top of the club aren't fit for purpose

If indeed O'Hare is sold for a bargain price and Robins sees none of the proceeds let's see how many are still saying 'we need to cut our cloth'.
The fact that so many of our fans gobble up the shite just shows how we've been conditioned over the years. We are basically Fritzls children.

What if the manager gets none of the proceeds to find a replacement? Still good business?
I’m not happy with the situation
I do wish we had an owner that didn’t add interest at eyewatering rates - I accept that until club is sold this isn’t really relevant
I recognise that the wage bill needs funding and we don’t have an owner willing to gift money
I recognise this means we need to sell an asset most years
I feel we need to maximise the sale and stil expect us to do so
I fully expect a sale to be a good sale for the club as a whole
I reckon most will support the ongoing b movement forward of the club
I would be disappointed if no money was made available for a transfer but would understand if investment was in the form of signing on fees and wages for new faces

you?

SUSU are not ambitious. They just want to claw back their investment through one off cash inflows ( transfers ) and higher interest rates.

our lack of activity to support Robins in January spoke volumes. Before someone says that they put players on better contracts …..refer back to one off cash inflows for the rationale

The lack of ambition from the fans is mad
There's a difference between a fan having a lack of ambition and having enough sense to know that the way our owners operate the club means that ambition won't be fulfilled.
I'd love to see us up there trying to win the championship/get promoted, but I know deep down it is unlikely. Doesn't stop me going to the games and enjoying the experience though.

I hope any sale is 8 figures but have no faith in those negotiating the fee from our side
It seems unlikely but not impossible that the manager will get anything except wages from the sale
In such a case the team appears slightly weaker if anything than it was last time
I'm left to hope that Robins can work wonders on the pittance he has been given-another mid table finish would be excellent

I think people should expect highly of whichever club they support and not hear 'but Derby' as a rebuttal to spending 6 figure fees on talent from the leagues below

The bed wetting is assuming the worst at every turn
Bed wetting is responding to information provided by people who have shown to have consistently good inside knowledge of the workings of the club now.

I’ll change my opinion if things turn out differently but it’s head in the sand to just assume everything is fine.

Take your petty comments out on your contacts with the club not the fans who put their money and time into this only to be taken for mugs. Frustration is a natural response and having a go at people for t is pretty pathetic.

SISU are certainly ambitious, just not regarding the football club.

Who are the itk’s? I’ve not seen any genuine people give any information other than robins yesterday and it’s clear all 3 are for sale at the right price

Nothing has happened yet!

- Not one single trusted source has given a COH fee
- Unless you can see the future, no-one knows how we will replace COH

This is the definition of bed-wetting.
Actually I would say the bed wetting has been triggered by inside info from ITKs, so it's not really bed wetting, it's based on info from good sources.
Personally I would have assumed if he was sold it would be for a good fee and we'd re-invest, which I'd be fine with. That's not what we're hearing though.

This is the definition of bed-wetting. If we get to September 1st and COH has left for £6m with no replacement, go wild. Until then you're getting mad online for nothing.

Touch grass.

I think you'll find it's actually having a wee while in the sack. (or some such!)

Who are these in the knows? The only with inside knowledge haven’t said anything.
Robins has said about freeing up wages and talked about Ohare

The £2.5m and £6m are utter bollox with a narrative of sisu are destroying our club and woe is me supporting this club.

If the quote from overson that someone made up had said £10m plus add ons this would be a different discussion
Who have we let go cheaply in the last 5 years?
