Did anyone see the reports on Sky Sports last night after the England-Spain match? They interviewed a couple of fans and one young girl said "When I grow up, I want to play for England." She paused a bit, and then frantically added "OR COVENTRY!"
Firstly, if anyone's the girls dad do pass on that they came over well and did a great job of getting a random plug in for City.
Secondly, it made me think that women's football can't be that bad if it's helping to breed a generation of young female City fans. You could tell that she goes up the CBS! It's a demographic that's growing for sure and that's a fan for life. So different from the dark days of the 80's.
