Nah we got Mcquiod from Bournemouth and Simeon Jackson who on paper was a decent signing, he wasn’t.

I actually meant mcquod yes correct Jackson was just another washed up on a brief prior reputation

1. Get a grip. If we get the figure we are asking for we could get 2 players in to replace him. 2. No such clause can be imposed in a permanent transfer. 3. If it was so easy to get rid of players don't you think walker would be gone already.
Very rare you come across a player as good as O’Hare . What he brings to our side is priceless.
you can bring in 3-4 more players but the won’t be as good .
Leeds are still pissed off Cantona left for scumchester, the rest is history.

In your opinion maybe. How do you know they won't be as,good or better?

This thread has reached 76 pages and the crux of the matter is that several on here have said CoH nor his agent want him to go and it seems the club aren't desperate to sell to the cheapest bidder. What were the other 75 pages waffling on about again ? :)

If we sold O’Hare for let’s say £10million and we’re able to use half the fee towards the team although I don’t want him to leave and especially to a direct competitor I can live with that but Robins would be lucky to get 10% of any fee and replacing a player like O’Hare and what he brings to the team, the club and us supporters with a million quid will be almost impossible unless we are very lucky.
The price suggested from the Burnley side is £6m

annoyingly watching the game tonight Sky are doing their best to chuck further fuel on the fire by saying they might come back in for COH following the sale of Dwight McNeil…who for the record is utter dogshit.

Oh come on. Like Sky decide whether Burnley come back in for him. Chill out.

Unfortunately Burnley looked a very good team and will probably get better. I would imagine a more tempting proposition than old-style Burnley, though I would think O'Hare would be an impact sub. On saying that Huddersfield were dreadful, particularly first half.

Probably 4-5 clubs in League 1 who could afford a good chunk of Walker’s wages. One of them have already had him and he was no good.

To be fair to him, and I've heard from a few sources who watched him when he was at Pompey, Walker wasn't the right player for the way they were playing.

He may leave but folks are pissing their pants over "sources" that have been wrong at virtually every step and SBB having a feeling

true we sold Callum Wilson and replaced him with Roy O Donovan
It would have been a great point if it weren't for the fact that we signed O'Donovan in The Championship when Wilson was a youth team player. He wasn't even a regular by the time O'Donovan left us.

Whoever we replaced Wilson with, I bet he was shit. It wasn't that old bloke who fell over when clean through on goal, was it? Or Marcus Tudgay?

I thought both teams were a bit meh. Long way to go of course but I didn’t see a championship winning side in Burnley to be honest.

Burnley had the freedom of Huddersfield 1st half, they must of thought they were still playing friendies. Huddersfield looked disjointed, rudderless and lacked any passion. They never pressured as a unit once 1st half, Maatsen was talking to his bench for 30 mins as nobody got close to him. 2 nd half the home team wised up a little and put it over Maatsen and made him turn towards his own goal, soon as they did that the out ball was gone.

If Burnley think they will be allowed to do that week in week out i think they are in for a shock. Every manager in the champ will watch that and see soft spots and ways to get at them. Anybody would look decent at that level with that much space. I do think Burnley have some tidy players and will be in the mix, but i dont see them as running away with it. They will have to fight and be sharper than that against teams that will push them back.

Huddersfield, think you can see they have lost keys players and a manager. Could be along season for that squad.

Sorry wrong thread...

The instalments have to have some cerainty of being paid though and the stories around Burnley dont give that confidence
I honestly don’t think the instalments would be that big a deal. They will just sell on the debt and any discount they needs to be applied they will just add on to the sale price

They will be back they know what we want and are probably now in a position to offer it. Some fans will feel let down, some will say its what we do. However most if not all would acknowledge and agree that COH is a fantastic player who showed love and respect for the fans and club since the day he walked in the door. He will go with no hard feelings and will be one of a very few players that would be welcomed back while playing for another club.

I think the clubs will agree a fee next week and it will be down to the player if he wants to go. If he does go, fans will want to see a couple players in to fill his position and other areas of the pitch. Not ideal preparation for Sunday but it's the nature of the beast. If it happens we will be the hunter next week and someones fans will be upset with us. In any case hope MR has Derby, Leicester and Newcastle and other prem clubs on speed dial..

"Just sell on the debt" - not as easy as it sounds and the lenders fee is about 10 to 11%

All this has fired up again purely on rumour and speculation. Burnley's sale wouldn't have happened over night and I'm sure they were aware of a fee that they had incoming when they were negotiating for O'Hare
