You'd imagine the lease would have indemnity provisions in it that expect Wasps to pay any lossesThere will be a compensation arrangement

I think sbb and of have confirmed there may not have been much contactwell it’s cash flow that brings businesses down as well you know
Why when you next see Boddy don’t you ask him what the documents filed at company house mean? Is it procedural or is this changing terms of the Arvo loans or short term funding.
I’d also be very curious to see his response if you ask him was last week the first time he was aware of the issues or potential issues regarding the playing surface

Grendel as a whole is laughableYou have. You spent months saying Boddy will accept the first low offer, now you claim he's overvalued the players.
It's laughable.

YesThat’s a bit odd isn’t it?
Have any thoughts why that might be?
I said he will accept the cash offer we need and he’s out his depth negotiating - let’s see what happens shall we at the end of the month

This is way beyond Boddys remit. Hes not negotiating anything. Hes just the public face of SISU..a nicer term for muppet.I said he will accept the cash offer we need and he’s out his depth negotiating - let’s see what happens shall we at the end of the month

Why do you think it’s odd?
They don’t get on or like each other, so why would they need regular contact.
I know you have a theory so what is it G?
I think the issue is that now that O'Hare is no longer being sold, for the obvious reasons, the club now find themsThey should put it on ifollow, make a bloody fortunePitch inspection at 6pm...I'm assuming a prompt media statement within 5mins or max 10 mins.
Will there be someone with the ref?..usually groundsman (in cricket) is working with Umpires if theres a pitch ground inspection. Interesting to see how this unfolds.
We can switch the game to Ashton Gate if needs be and they agree.
Anybody know what the line up for the pitch inspection is?

I don't think its weird either. They've agreed a long term rental deal then should be focused on running their respective businesses. I can't see why they need to speak often.
Once a quarter maybe. Certainly no more than once a month. And I'm sure there was probably an element of trust in them leaving the pitch in a decent state after the CGs. An expectation I guess...it didn't need DB to say 'Right Mr Wasps...make sure the grass is still decent after the Rugger 7s...OK? You cheeky little sausage'. It seems that some on here think they should be speaking daily I guess. Hey ho.
If tomorrow is called off, I can't see Bristol City going ahead at the CBS either.
Come off it, it isn't renting an office block. You'd expect a lot of discussion in the run up to the first event of the season. The club's business is playing football and the pitch is essential to that. Unless they've got 24/7 access rights to the Arena and full control over pitch maintenance then they've got to speaking to Wasps regularly.

Don't Rotherham have a load of injuries at the moment?
No doubt they'll have a fully fit squad for the rearranged game and we'll have about 7 injuries
Why? It's a match...the run 100s of them between them over the last however many years Wasps have been here. Granted its the first game of the season but they're not going to need lots of meetings for something that happens 20-30 times a season.
Being the first game, any meetings would likely be at an operational level anyway...not at Exec level.
I don't really get why people think those at the top should be talking to each other on a virtually daily basis. Personally I'd take that as a sign something was wrong as things should pretty much run themselves.
Same with the pitch, I'd find it a bit odd if someone from our side was chasing Wasps every day asking about the pitch, and I'm pretty sure if I was on the Wasps staff I'd find that as annoying as fuck.
Its not unreasonable when you rent a stadium for football matches to expect a pitch that isn't unsafe to play on. Not too sure why some of our fans seem so desperate to make this the fault of anyone other than the people we rent from.
