There’s no way wasps are going to relay the pitch in 6 weeks rugby school have just had a new sand based pitch laid and it might look great from a distance but close up it’s just as patchy as the cbs and that’s been growing for over 8 weeks with continuous watering , also it cost over £300000 although there was a lot more work involved with drainage etc

I'm guessing while it's bathed in sunshine they leave it be. They'll put the lights on it at night and water most of the day. Not sure what more they can do really.

You can tell when the lights are on as it lights the ground up.

Based on that about 10% of that pitch is knackered . Surely fixable in a couple of weeks ?

From a distance yes most of it looks playable. But up close is probably a different story. And the angle of the photo will hide some of the bare patches.

Wouldn’t take long to patch it up properly
6 weeks at brum would be ok but I worry we wouldn't come back and wasps and sisu just fight for a few more years
Have Brum agreed then ?

just read Birmingham are also at home on August the 16th & 20th
