Yeah and there's the two kit history sites that go all the way back with home kits. I'm guessing a fair few of the early ones are based just on descriptions, but there's no away kit before that one

Coventry 22-23 Away & Goalkeeper Kits Released - Footy Headlines

Home is the toughest one, going with that more through associating it with happy memories. That Eric Black era, being 4-0 up v Preston after 28 minutes, Johnnie Jackson scoring that last minute winner v WBA and beating Walsall 6-1 away. All whilst having a season ticket with my Dad. I do like the simple design and the pinstripes though

Loved the tramline kit as a kid, probably more a of a sentimental choice. After this I always preferred plain-ish Skyblue home kits. Really didn’t like going to striped kits… then we went and won the fucking cup in one ffs

A pity that Shaw scored that screamer in such a dreadful kit

The 93/94 kit has a special place in my heart; it was technically my first full kit, and it was the first season I attended over 50% of all home games.
Not sure who the player is, in the picture, however it does look suspiciously like Leigh Jenkinson, mid-step over. 🤣

This years home and away like others have said because of the retro feel.

The first Hummel 1987 throw back and the Two tone also recent faves.

For me tho Talbot Kit only one missing in my collection

Plus the Umbros both home and away-hoping it’s next years Hummel effort.

Home wise got to be the early 70’s Skyblue with black collar and cuffs. Put together nicely with black shorts. Cannot quite believe we’ve never gone back to it as such a beautiful colour combination.

I think the Two Tone is the best of all time. Looks slick and smart on the field of play. Seem to remember we had good results on the whole when we wore this kit!?
