Quality of The Championship (4 Viewers)

I know it’s early days but quality of the Championship seems poor compared to last season, I don’t see a Fulham/Bournemouth situation last year where two teams have a complete monopoly on the League

No reason why we can’t push up the table when we get properly into our season - Provided we keep our players and play more like we did second half at Sunderland and first half at Millwall

Keep our best players and add a couple of quality loans we might.

I think West Brom will emerge this season. Wallace and Swift, plus a really solid pair of centre backs. Sheff Utd will be thereabouts, but don't look any better than last season. Burnley should be, but may take time to gel (if they do). Was very impressed by that Sargent up front for Norwich (work ethic) the other night against Millwall.

The championship looks the same as last year to me. And the year before.
It’s got a handful of top teams who have the big PL bucks parachute payments and then Chuck a blanket over the rest really. Always a couple of poor sides but from 7th to 20th there is nothing really in it. All about form and injuries for those 15 sides.

Extremely subjective. This argued over every season. The perception of how strong the league is.

Personally theres no doubting its strongest since we been here. As the 3 promoted teams have shown they can mix it in this league. Where as in previous seasons at least of the 3 promoted teams have been canon fodder.

I think the mixed results since the start of the season shows us how tough and close this division is win two games together you shoot up the league once the transfer window closes it’s going to be down to injuries and getting your best team out on the pitch as much as possible. Does our owner have the ambition allow us to add a couple to our squad…sadly no so for us it’s a case fingers crossed.

Or on the other hand it's just a very competitive league

Yes, I think it's this. It looks to me stronger than last season and more competitive.

Yeah, i think people need to be realistic. I'm not saying that we couldn't mount a play off push but more that it'll need much much better luck than we've had so far and a lot less basic mistakes.

To give an insight in the quality difference between the championship and the prem. Forest have signed 16 players in this window, be interesting to see how they fair

Tbf of we got promoted I would only keep sheaf hamer o hare gyokres dabo for sure. Rest be happy to replace with prem money

So 15 signings I would be down with even if it's hard to gel.

Watched some of Brizzle v Cardiff earlier, the bits I saw it looked very pedestrian and poor on quality

No idea how people are making these judgement calls with the season so so young. Won’t take shape for ages yet.

Because I don’t think Norwich/Burnley are anywhere near as good as Fulham or Bournemouth looked last season - Plenty teams will take points off them

That’s not to say the league in general will be of less quality. I had doubts about Burnley before the season started, they’ve stuck with Ashley Barnes which is a pretty big laugh. But I’ll stick with Norwich winning the league before the final day. Worth pointing out that Bournemouth had a pretty shaky mid season as well.

As a supporter of us who’ve played 3 less than most, its even harder to gauge where we are in comparison. Also think we’re walking a tightrope with our squad.

I can’t see Norwich running away with it like they are used to mind, I thought Millwall should have got a result on Friday night myself that more than held their own

Sunderland are currently 5th and they are a poor side in my opinion

And yet we could only just scrape a draw against them.
