I heard the report last night, thought it must have been a family member who'd lost it.
A stranger bust into the house, fucking hell.

It's disgusting although no doubt there will be a wall of silence despite everyone in the area knowing who it was. Absolute scum.

And to think America has banned abortion yet continues to sanction guns.

The scumbag being chased and who was shot several times was then rescued by his scummy mates and driven away in an audi.....leaving the kid and mum bleeding on the floor.

Proper cold blooded crime family scumbags.

I make that the 3rd gun death and 7th shooting in Liverpool this week.....fuck me, its getting like the 90s again.

Awful.
Think the family of the young lady killed Saturday night/Sunday morning had lost a son as well when he was sixteen .

Massive issue now is that some kids can do no wrong in their parents eyes.

Even looking through the comments about those pricks in Longford causing havoc, their parents are on social media defending them.

"Let em do wot dey wont, they are morning a friend".

"They are riding illegal bikes on the road"

"How do u even no they r illegal, u cant proov it"

"They are motocross bikes that aren't road legal, they have no tax, MOT or insurance, no license and no helmet"

"Dats ur opinion"

Same with the knife crime in Coventry when the guy from the specials grandson died. It's all well and good telling everybody he's an angel, why not step in when he was sentenced for mugging young kids in town with a gun???

It baffles me sometimes how kids grow up thinking it's OK to do what they want, no respect for anybody or anything and their parents defend them until the end if anybody says anything.

I really can't get my head around it, their kids can be out carrying a machete and looting shops but it is somebody else's fault.

Seems the gunman was chasing someone who forced his way into the young girls house. He then chased him through the house, shooting as he went.

Poor little girl. RIP.

When I was a Uni in Nottingham similar sort of thing happened. Little boy got hit in a drive by. Absolutely sickening.

Almost like we’ve had over a decade of budget cuts and Tory bollocks.

Same as knife crime, these are symptoms of deeper issues.

Yes let’s make some sadistic bastards murder of a child justifiable by blaming a Tory government

Ffs I know we all love a bit of petty political point scoring on here, but that's fkn ridiculous!

What?

Fine if you believe cutting services doesn’t lead to violent crime, but those of in reality are happy to stay there.

Sorry if you don’t like the consequences of your choices but this is fairly uncontroversial stuff: knife and gun crime go up when police and social support are cut. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why do you think we have police?

So what you are saying is this wouldn’t have happened under another government. Would said gunman be singing Kumbaya round a fireside?

what was the motive out of interest?

I imagine the gunman and the 35 year old shot at were stellar members of the community back in 2010, then Cameron got in and they said fk it let's shoot a kid. I mean that is what you're implying! Pathetic.

I actually agree with your point about Shmmeees post but then you go and make a comment like that, which to be honest, is much more poorly thought out.
30 incidents in 3 months and they say Cov is dangerous!

Is it that time of the thread already where we all compete to think of the most grisly punishment to show what great people we are?

Or is it that time when Mr Smug tries to condescend the audience and plead for the human rights of a child killer?

I remember when Coventry had 9 murders on a month.
4 children have been killed in Coventry in recent times in horrific circumstances.
Several major cities have have had spikes in violence periodically over the last few decades.

If its not a subject to try and score petty political points on, it's certainly not a subject to try and score petty parochial points on either.

I live in liverpool. I think this shooting is another gang related issue, which I agree isn’t helped by Tory budget cuts. It’s all about perception. This sort of thing happens in London and people don’t hold it against the people there. This also only happens in selected areas of north liverpool , the majority of south liverpool and other parts of north liverpool are very safe. I always say this and nobody ever believes me - but I genuinely think that Coventry is more dangerous than Liverpool and I have felt genuinely unsafe more times in Cov than in Liverpool. Regardless , I of course agree that this must end and gang violence (and knife crime etc) needs to be tackled.

No it’s not a party political issue and what’s for certain both sides will be tough on crime and then deliver nothing
