Looks like Alex Neil has ditched Scumberland for Stoke. Oh dear just when they thought they were getting promoted to the prem 😂

looks like they want Robins if Neil goes.
could be worried about this given the shit show Robins has had to put up with this season with the pitch, no funds and now Hyam being sold from under him

Am I wrong?

We’ll kind of - This forum is a human depressant, we’ve sold one player (admittedly a decent one, but not one without his flaws either)

And then people, off the back of what one ‘ITK’ (Who in fairness seems a well informed and decent enough bloke, but has got things wrong before, ie. The Wigan game being on and Gyökeres not being in the squad against Bristol City in the cup) saying there may be another outgoing - Have put 2 and 2 together and made 5 and got it into their heads that Gyökeres is going

Going off here you’d think we may as well resign our place in the League and kick off again in League 1 next August

Forgive me for being positive but I’m looking forward to a good day out tomorrow with our without Dominic Hyam and hopefully coming back with 3 points

I’ll be going to Hull, Norwich and the midweek game hoping for some decent results but it’s not wrong to say that a lot of evidence points to problems behind the scenes combined with already being 3 games behind on the competition.

Sunderland may lose a manager but can actually spend a few quid and have started fine

Forums in general tend to lead to mass hysteria because people want to feel part of a collective. In reality though people are just bored and exaggerate for something to do.

I’ll never knock someone for having an opinion - It would be boring if we all had the same one but I just think people are jumping the gun a bit

Also worth noting that whilst I all round quite like our squad, the only player I’d be genuinely devastated to lose is Gyökeres

have you read the latest interview given by Robins?
He sounds pissed off. These are worrying times, especially as some time ago he hinted there maybe extra investment, to go from that to our current situation isn't great to say the least.

I do not remember or must have missed this, please point me in the right direction

The owner (Joy Seppala) has been really good, because she's still trying to get more investment to get me a little bit more money to spend in different areas. And that's fantastic.

"Look, there's no promises there, but the fact they're trying to do it and move it forward is a sign of where we're trying to get to.

"We have to get to a point where we can have that investment and I know the desire is there to do so, so hopefully we can get that moved forward and when we do that will make a huge difference to Coventry City Football Club and everyone concerned.”

this is the only article I can find but it doesn't really hint at extra investment, though it's definitely been mentioned on here more than once so someone else might have more info.
However, contrast the tone of this interview with his latest one and the ones he did regarding the pitch fiasco, he doesn't sound happy to me.

edit - just seen slowerthanplatts post, not sure when the interview that's from was conducted, but that's the one I was alluding to.

Okay that is fair, I wasn’t having a dig by the way I genuinely didn’t realise he had said that

He did say there’s no promises mind, to be honest, if it wasn’t for this pitch fiasco we may well be sitting in a nice position in the table and probably not letting Hyam go, unfortunately that is not the case and there is a lot of blame to be shared round different parties for that

We’ll see what happens, if I wake up Friday morning and Gyökeres has gone (As I’ve said, he’s the only player I would be genuinely gutted to lose) then I would be the first to ask questions - But I’m just trying to remain positive for the time being

Here’s to 3 points tomorrow please City
