The timing is poor but surely this is our business model? Buy players to develop whilst also improving us and then sell for a profit. How else do we survive without selling players?

He’s been a great pro and great business by us. Need the next one now and then rinse / repeat.

Think some people have unrealistic expectations of what / where we are as a club that doesn’t even own its own ground.

Got a couple of my body language expert mates at the game today so we’ll have an idea on a replacement by 3:05 hopefully

Judging by Panzo looking down I'd say we're bringing back Leon Barnett or Reece Brown on loan

Who actually sells players, not Sepalla personally so it has to be Boddy, does he have too if he didn’t could that enhance the end of sisu here.

I worry now for our season. The sale looks desperate to pay this months running costs.
I expect the club thought that 4 home matches in August would have covered those costs.
However, I expect another player to be sold to cover the ongoing costs for the season including instalments for Hamer, Gyokeres, Sheaf, etc
MR must feel he’s been undermined

Purely in terms of Hyam yes. In terms of how it feels it’s hard to be optimistic but you have to be

This looks like a relegation battle. It was the defence we particularly needed to strengthen but Panzo aside we have only brought in kids. What the eff is going on. Kane on the sidelines no hyam and 5 days to go.

I heard he was late to training so his forfeit is to buy Joy a new handbag…. And she does like her handbags…

Relax Its good business, we've had a leaky defence for a couple of years, and Hyam has been a mainstay in that dodgy back 3. It gives us a chance to bring in fresh blood, and hopefully someone with a bit more pace who can actually pass a ball to a sky blue shirt !

If we sign someone for the same money great

our business model at this level doesn’t exist it’s a lower league model

Never easy seeing your favourite players leave. Blood is starting to boil at the thought of flogging our best defender in a state of panic with no intention of adequate replacement.
It's a bit pathetic and reminiscent of relegations past.

So debt then basically.

Strategy isn’t working? We’ve improved every season for 5 years straight you muppet 😂

We have £20 million of debt and that’s in 15 years taken us to where we were in tbe first place.

why does it need to be debt?

Don’t worry the model will work again next season at this rate

I don't think we'll be in a relegation battle this season, but the clubs only heading one way.
We're going to lose half this team by next August , (and probably the manager), and try and replace them on a shoestring.
