Spot on. Also the sale of Hyam. A player who was hardly mentioned in any thread. It was all about keeping the Big Three, which we have done.

With Hyam it's more how he was pushed out of the club for a quick buck. If he had been sold in July for a better fee and been replaced, perhaps even upgraded, there'd be much fewer complaints.

How?

Yeah I'd have liked a CB in but if you had said before the pitch hassle that Hyam would be going out and the others wouldn't, people would have taken it.
Yeah to be fair mate fair comment

I think the start we’ve had highlights the Supposed concerns so hopefully you’re proven right and we get up the table

I think the first 11 is fine.

but lack of confidence and catch up combined with a small squad has me concerned

We've played 4 (four, quattro, vier, pedwar) games. It's the first of September.

He was hardly "pushed out of the club", he will have had a fairly big pay rise.

Amazing how Hyam suddenly became our best CB when he signed for Blackburn, same as JCS when he signed for QPR.

Despite the rage, I dont think it's overly bad.

Its not brilliant but its certainly not a disaster. All we've heard over the summer is keep the big 3, which they've done, albeit likely only due to COH injury. What we need now is COH back as quickly as possible and no other key players being out for any length of time

Yeah it's been a shit start, we have hardly been hammered though.

I’ll have a ton on Cal being back just in time to be sold in Jan.

Fair enough. Circumstance dictated that though. Circumstances beyond our control which forced our hand. Would I rather have kept him and signed more players? Absolutely, but I'm more than happy to have kept the Big 3.

I thought there was a lot of over dramatic posters on here but fuck me take a look at some of the reply’s on twitter 🤣

“You are a total shambles Coventry City - Forget the usual rubbish tomorrow about we've kept our players, we all know that wasn't the plan. The owners deserve every amount of grief they are about to get after the fans had responded in record fashion”

“If we get relegated you can forget ever seeing a fucking penny of my money again because I’ll be done with it”

Embarrassing!!

Gonna get worse when we lose to Norwich and West Brom.. that’ll be 5 losses in a row with Luton away after that.

I’d like to wish you all good luck. Seven gods be on our side, that we don’t have an injury curse.

I am sure I remember the plan was to have greater depth to the squad?! We have let 3 centre backs go (4 with JCS loan return) and brought in 2 loans. A couple of injuries or suspensions and we are screwed.

Poor transfer window, we needed to replace Maatsen which we don't look to have done that properly and are also probably weaker at centre back. Also needed cover for Dabo at right wing back as he is always likely to pick up an injury.
Could have done with another centre midfielder as Sheaf and Hamer are good but not much good cover for them if one of them is out and could have done with replacing Waghorn with a better quality of cover for Godden and Gyokeres.
