Favourites though are the Wimbledon away 2-0 win with 7000 Cov fans in attendance. Nuddy scampering from the halfway line to slot it past Hans Segers. But best memory was his impertinent dribble at Goodison Park, from outside our penalty area zigging and zagging and utterly confusing the Everton defenders (and most of the Cov players too ) before deftly lobbing Nev Southall from outside the Everton box. 1-1 on the day but that run always stood out.

Someone mentioned earlier that game was 7000 City fans there,I remember reading there were 10000 of us there. Really warm day and the Cov players coach struggled to get past as we were all drinking outside the pubs near the ground.
And Strachan walked round the pitch to tell the fans to stop running on after we scored. It was in vain as Pink Panther ran past him
I’ve often wondered this, and having seen a lot of Ndlovu between 1993 and 1996, he seemed to dip dramatically in and out of form. Teams, I feel, cottoned onto his directness and marked him closely, and at times he would make odd decisions with the ball.
