He was poor against Bristol City and he’s also been poor in the 21s, think it’s just a case as he’s just not good enough yet.

Also remember he is very young and sometimes a move into a new invironment for the first time can knock someones confidence. That can affect performance.

It maybe just a case that he has found it harder to settle more than some others do which has affected his form.

But if they feel he is someway off the bench (which I think was his main goal in first half of season with a few cameo's); he may as well play in Palaces under 21's as ours.

It is in his, Palace's and ours for him to go back.

We haven't sent him back though, Palace recalled him.

Probably after an honest discussion with Mark Robins and maybe at the request of the player?

How a player's legend can grow when nobody's actually seen them play...

Once Adaramola is announced I'm quite happy with our defence.

We've basically lost Maatson and Kane. But we have gained Adaramola (hopefully) and Panzo who look excellent
Adaramola in and no outs I’d be very confident going into next season. Expect one big out though.
Hope we get to see Adaramola even off the bench. Quite excited about him from what I've heard.
If the loan signings live up to their potential, then Adaramola and Panzo are upgrades on Maatsen and JCS, or at least on par.
Adaramola will be first choice LWB once bedded in
What's happened to Tayo Adaramola, thought he would be straight in the team once he was up to speed.

Eccles and Bidwell nowhere near good or dynamic enough to play as wing backs

It's so odd how people reach such definitive views on players they haven't ever seen. It's like the ones who decided Tavares was rubbish based on nothing.

Can't help but feel there's more to this. Surely our scouting can't be that bad that we've signed a loan with the expectation of him playing first team football only to find he's not even up to the u23s.

Its not like he's from some far flung country where nobody has had much opportunity to see him play. Has he not done any work over the summer and turned up completely out of shape, has he just not settled? Doubt we'll ever know.

Wouldn't read too much into the recalled statements. That could just be a PR thing, not in either clubs interest for the statements to be Cov sent him back because he was shit.

Dragging up old posts to prove a point - has Grendel forgot to log out of one of his alts?

Stand by my comment. Potential and ability are different. Read up on him, speak to people involved in youth football. He’s very highly thought of, this hasn’t worked for some reason which is a shame for all parties.

Next time I’ll just go mega negative when we sign someone.

Don't have to be negative, just not proclaim he's the second coming ahead of a proven Championship LWB who's been there, done it at more successful teams than us, before we even see him.

tbf he's not the only one that's happened with. I still remember the clamour for Thornton to get a regular start...

The kid needed a year in league one before joining us he's too raw for a championship relegation battle
