Right then who is in the know… The alleged trouble in the camp? (16 Viewers)

The proof that we weren't trying to move Kane on is the manager literally saying we were trying to move him on?

The prediction was that he will be moved on and he wasn’t!

He said I think that’s the intention - how’s that wrong

Well ultimately there isn’t a ton of value in someone predicting we have the intention of doing things that ultimately don’t come to fruition. I say that as someone who reads SBB’s stuff with great interest and values his input elsewhere, but let’s not pretend anyone is an unimpeachable oracle on here.

Someone I know who is ITK and close to a kitchen porter at Ryton told me Viktor stole Godden’s lawnmower and took it for a joy ride around Warwick Castle the night before the Norwich game.

Godden was less than impressed and there was a huge argument. Viktor said his hair is better than Godden etc…Godden said Viktor’s mrs isn’t a patch on Magnus Headman’s mrs…Godden chucked some manure at Viktor, but Viktor ducked and it hit Robins in the face while he was sitting on his throne. That was the last straw for Robins and dropped them both to the bench.
This is clearly the correct answer

That’s a blast from the past, I got the wooden spoon treatment for calling that up daily for a few weeks.
The headlines always seemed to be so believable and enticing to a curious, young, non-phonebill-paying mind, too. I feel like the creators of Clubcall will have made money out of social media/the internet somehow.

I guess we’ll see if he plays for us this season then - he seems to have been training recently so he was certainly not injured when the window closed.

Anyway, here’s another one that turned out completely wrong:

Well now that he’s gone silent we can see the quality of ‘inside info’ has gone down sharp. Which suggests that even if not right on absolutely every little thing, he clearly knew a lot more than most.

That's like saying Robbins isn't in the know as even he won't know if the players he wishes to sell will get any offers... could be more around your interpretation of what is being said than SBB's information. Often when pressed he would say no offers yet etc.

In defence of SBB Kane was told at the end of last season that he should find another club
He would have moved on had he not had surgery

Yes I was going to say you said the same thing repeatedly

Obviously morale is very fragile at the club and certainly on this forum. Does anybody feel that those who are spreading stories are part of the problem at the club and on here?
I assume the low morale is the reason SBB hasn't been posting recently. There's clearly no good news to share and with Robins calling for fans to stick with them, any insights he gives won't help that.

I think some posters on social media don't realise the damage they can cause. How they can affect players confidence, especially young players. Also it can affect team moral and an atmosphere of uncertainty. It can also undermine the messages from the manager and coaching staff.

I'd imagine it's horrendous. Though the difference is championship clubs are one-step away from the promised land, (not that that makes it OK but it does mean theyll be ownerswilling to bank roll a promotion push), but what have these rugby clubs got to aim for?

There's no way it can sustain itself with those debt levels.
It would be horrendous, difference being that championship football is far more marketable to the public, TV, and sponsors than premier rugby will ever be.

Yes, and my last post said so. While SBB and BD have obvious links into the club, I feel some of that information shouldn't be made public and certainly not on a forum where rumours tend to escalate to full on war with the offending individual. This gets echoed on Twitter, FB and Insta, increases its volume and can't help but make its way to any player (and the Club staff) who looks at Social Media. And some of the "My mate down the pub said" rumours get the same reaction as the ITK snippets.

Simply, I suggest we as a forum stop with the uninformed opinions, let BD and SBB relax for a bit, and support the team on the pitch. Let MR and AV sort the individual players out. Nothing we say or do will help the situation.

There seems to be a desperation from some to make everything into something it's not.

Kane told he can leave became Kane is shagging another players missus. Turns out he's not in MRs plans.

Cashman not featuring during pre season became he has an attitude problem and Robins has fallen out with him. Turns out he was just injured.

It's like some people just want there to be drama, or want there to be things going on for them to get outraged at. Bit weird really.

So they were all wrong then?

Which proves the blokes point that whilst they are very informed individuals not everything that they say should be taken as gospel

The club believed the issue would be fixed so the club were saying it and SBB was consistent with the messaging from the club

Kanes issue was attitude to deny that is foolish - Better Days posted that he is far too forthright and was frozen out and he would be a reliable source of information - same regarding Cashman

The only person who appears to be trying to minimise their knowledge here and question the integrity is you

It as seems to be that this assumption we paid for the pitch renovation comes despite BBC denial,at least Clive anyway.
Was it not rent paid up front which helped fund it? Either way it would have affected the club's cash flow.

Forgive me if they already have made an announcement (I might have missed it - if so sorry for bringing it up) but has anybody heard anything from the EFL on punishment for the 3 postponed games? This could (would) have a major impact on what happens next

Well we must have had some money as we did offer to help even if it came off the rent.
