Unsure how anyone can hate klopp? Fantastic manager who is fighting against a powerhouse with billions to spend? Surely everyone should want the underdog to win? Maybe I’m biased as Liverpool are my prem team
Don’t hate Klopp - but he does whinge a lot, great manager though

Liverpool on the hand… hope they crash and burn, hate them. But let’s not make out they’re a poor side.

I don’t mind him to be honest, Chelsea would be worse off if they sacked him

Admittedly his carry on after the game yesterday was pathetic

Can't believe they've sacked him. Madness.

He’s been horrendously underperforming in my opinion. Not really settled on squad or system. Also a bit of a loose cannon so wouldn’t be surprised if it emerges that there’s been a huge bust up.

So spend a huge wedge on players then immediately sack the manager? Sounds right

It shouldn’t matter. If clubs are set up correctly nowadays they will bring in someone of a similar ethos who is able to work with the players recruited.

However, Chelsea are usually a bit of a mess from that perspective and under fresh ownership/director-level management. Could go tits up.

Yeah exactly, as you say difficult to see what the plan was with those signings though & Tuchel seemed to really struggle to get them cohesive going forward.

The new owner sounds like a bit of a nut job.

I think he's owner/chairman/director of football. Maybe he fancies a go at head coach too?

He can ask Orange Ken for some advice

Potter being mooted as early fave, can’t see them going for him as they usually go for proven managers with a glittering CV to their name already

Can’t see Poch taking it with his Spurs connections

I think they’ll go interim till after the World Cup and will try and take one of the international managers

LOL at Tuchel.....cheerio you whiney baseball-capped prick

EDIT: I was channelling a Mel Brooks sketch but having done a bit of googling after @wingy reaction, seems the word may be a little "dated" shall we say. Still, always learning.

The rest of it is correctly offensive.:)

Hmm, given time at Brighton to where they are now he won’t get there. 15th & 16th placed finishes in his first two seasons.

Prediction: if he takes the job, will be gone by the first game of next season.

Yeah, takes time to build a team like he has. You'd like to think if they are approaching him they've done their due diligence & know & understand that but this is Chelsea....
Given the way they've handled transfers/Tuchel etc. it could just be they are jumping on him as his profile is currently high.

One of the best managers around if supported properly.

They had a great start last season too and faded away quickly. I’d take it if I was him, all the other top jobs look secure for the time being, bar maybe Spurs.

Potter is a very shrewd tactician. However, it takes time to instil his way of playing. In fairness, the squad for the most part suits him and it could go quite well. Equally, could be a bin fire.

580 odd days he lasted versus the Chelsea average of a few months less than that over the last 20 years. Not a shock really.

If given time Potter could be brilliant for them. In practice, he needs top 4 as a minimum this season. Be interesting to see how the very top players react to him.

Lol some female supporter from Chelsea rubbishes potter on five live as not big enough and then when asked said Emma Hayes would be great but is already taking the womens team into being one of the best in the world so not good timing

Heard her. She's 5 lives go to Chelsea person. She's an absolute clown with a voice that could curdle milk.

Don't blame Potter if he wants to give it a go - but with player power there its a massive challenge. Next England manager the way the press build him up. Can see Rogers or Gerard going to Brighton... Not keen on the new Brighton and their posh sussex fanbase that have suddenly sprung up since their Withdean days! Loyal traditional fans been to hell and back like us though!
