Story of our life - getting so fucking boring to be honest. I know I’m negative as fuck tonight I’m just fed up of the same old song

Even though they've had the 2 best attempts, we really should be 2 up at least. Hopefully they don't galvanise at HT.

Looking good. Godden having a poor game, Dabo a bit iffy positionally, Allen being Allen, but otherwise playing well. Wilson’s looked solid, back line miles better (we haven’t conceded), Bidwell continuing his good form and Dabo doing OK going forwards. Sheaf and Hamer playing well and Vik being Vik.

They’ll come back second half, but if we can keep doing what we’re doing I’m confident of getting something from the game.

Would consider Walker on for Godden and obviously Palmer for Allen at some point. But not half time.

Defence looks okay. Dabo having a better game despite being up against a tougher looking winger than Wednesday night. Midfield doing their job, just need Viktor to be seeing more of the ball.

Decent half, been the better team, albeit Blues have probably had the 2 best chances, although we have come very close from distance. Best game Allen has had in a long time, Sheaf and Gyokeres have been class, 'Hammer' also having a good game. Godden is the only one who's playing poorly.

Dabo is much improved on Wednesday, but is too narrow when we have the ball.

These are here for the taking.

Well, decent first half albeit without getting on the score sheet. Having said that though it was Brum with the best chance.

Good first half. Some much improved performances. Dabo did well, Gyokeres using the ball much better. Hamer and Allen quick to support from two. Panzo solid in the air. Only Godden underperforming I would say. I would put Palmer on behind Gyokeres or if not Waghorn.

Kane is on the bench. Dissapointing he's decided to raise his game now only when there's some competition.

In fairness I think its a natural thing. Competition raises your game, you always play better against better opposition for example. Glad to see Dabo playing better though, still a bit shakey in defence though.

Actually think Allen has been pretty effective in the 10 for a change, keeps dropping off & finding space & Birmingham really don't know who should pick him up which creates space for others. If only he had a little more creativity.
He's done well positionally. He's just not hugely progressive when he gets it

Dabos looked better with the ball but is still useless at stopping a cross

I just never have any confidence he’ll do anything when the ball comes to him. He’s great in every aspect that doesn’t involve touching a football.

He's been much better today, could have done better with both chances though.

Outplayed Brum so far. But why are we not ahead by now? It will come if we keep it going, inevitably. Gykores is some player we have. Can't wait for O'Hare back who links the front two so well.
