Didn't know about any demonstration, but if there was would be stupid to have it at a Wasps game that coincides with when we are also playing.

Yeah think the organiser was threatened
disgusting if true. We are all entitled to protest and have an opinion. Wasps threatening to tell his employer is totally out of order and if true they should be shamed publicly

Tweet has gone down now but organiser was threatened by a new twitter account saying that he knew where the organiser worked and that they supply Wasps and CBS with goods so he would be best keeping quiet

I still don’t understand. What has he done that’s supposed to be a firable offence?

I know nothing of the situation also and it seems unless he breached the peace causing reputational damage (for this he would need to have been in uniform etc or a public figure for his employer), he would have a rock solid Employment Tribunal claim.

Every where I have worked would have laughed in their faces and I have worked for some big organisations as a manager.
Cant see how it would bring my employer into disripute unless it was working for Wasps, Cov or CCFC.
Had threats myself from CCFC fans nothing ever came of it, just big balls on a computer keyboard.
Even had City fans wind up the MK Dons fans trying to get them to do there dirty work for them at a march, punched our drummer in the back of the head then ran off like cowards when they were confronted.

Think what happened is they were organising a peaceful demonstration against Wasps to coincide with their first home game at the cbs. Someone linked to wasps found out and identified one of the organisers of the demonstration and that they worked for a company who supplied goods to either Wasps or the CBS and threatened him that If he continued then they would contact his employer and have him fired or something similar like refusing to do business with them.

whatever the actual threat its at minimum outrageous and possibly verging on criminal harrasement
