It seems and has been for a while fairly obvious they are trying to sell and Richardson is not getting the deal he wants. It doesn’t have to be re financing it could be a sale and this triggers the buyer into action

Could it be completely insane to think Sepalla would go for it?

Buying more time it seems.

Makes you wonder if the 'bit' that has gone into admin is a bit that has bugger all assets, but has all the liabilities and so the other bits of the group have most of the assets, whilst wiping their hands of any responsibility to their creditors. Start off again owing nothing, then set off again merrily on their way?! Mind you, even if that were the case, who (Derek aside) would jump into bed with them financially?!

Wouldn’t any buyer just wait and buy for cheaper out of administration?

Popped on the wasps forum the other day and a counter point, and this was used as a positive, to the fact wasps are in the shit. Was that rugby in general is in the shit.

Maybe this is why Shitsu didn’t part with any transfer money so they could buy the CBS back for us...well we can live in hope

The statement is worded slightly differently. The past statements have been they're in advanced talks to secure finance, this reads more like the club is being sold to me.

Quite possibly, but if you haven't already understood the visceral dislike of (London) Wasps pitching up here, fucking over the local rugby and football club, and disenfranchising their own supporters, I guess it's a bit late for me to try to explain.
How did they fuck over us and Cov Rugby?

If, and its still a big if IMO, Wasps lose control of the ground to the bondholders, is there a strong case for them staying at the CBS? 5K in a stadium that holds over 30K isn't fun as we've experienced when we've had some cold nights in the early rounds of the paint pot cup and will only get worse if the current results are maintained and we head into winter. Would that be the point at which they admit the experiment has failed.

Of course that leaves the question of where they would go. Brentford would be the obvious answer being literally minutes from where the club was previously based but having told their supporters that wasn't an option as rugby wouldn't be allowed there London Irish have moved in.
We were getting 5-6k for some league games in League 2, let alone the paint pot cup.

You're having a laugh, surely?

Do you remember us playing in Birmingham? Do you remember Wasps promising to play on Sundays so as to not impact CRFC? Do you remember the Council talking about rebuilding trust with the club before discussing ownership of the stadium?

You are Kevin Maton and I claim my five pounds.

Got to love their fans on social media thanking Bobby bridge for his great work copy and pasting a statement telling them that funds are at an advanced stage. They now feel at ease.

doesn't 'intent to file' give them another 14 days to get sorted? I hope not, the sooner they go bump the better

That’s what we did to get Sisu in

Ironic really as they could have been part of that development. I used to post that article from the Independent: "Why Wasps Didn't Have To Send Themselves To Coventry ".

I'm not sure Worcester fans (best described as 'long-suffering') would agree. I wonder if a ground share would suit both parties though. Time for Wasps to pull that 'nomad' card again?

I'd often thought the Alexander Stadium would have a role in this drama. tbf I'd originally thought we'd end up there(!) but... time for Wasps to be 'embraced' by Britain's second city?
