Imagine being an Oxford grad and have people on a local football forum labelling you as thick. Three weeks into being head of the country having had the Queen's passing taking most of the first two weeks, I think she needs a bit more time before she's written off and certainly will prepare for a GE, despite all the early bed-wetting on here . You can disagree with every policy, even say she has it wrong or is completely uninformed, but as much as some of you like to hate on all things Tory, she certainly isn't thick.

She's certainly not as thick as the people that vote for her

They will make her followers clap her for ages so they can make the speech at the conference very short as there will be less chance to cause more chaos.

When you think about the people and organisations who are telling her she’s thick but just being politer than people on a football forum, the IMF, the BOE, practically every single economist in the country bar the one who said brexit would be a success from day one, ex governor of the BOE etc. etc. All far far more academic than old Blunder Truss, all far far more qualified than old Blunder Truss in economics, all far far more experienced than old Blunder Truss in economics, all far far more… well you get the idea. Either way they’re confirming what people on a football forum are saying.

Nicknames like Blunder Truss and Shitsu may sound good in your head but they just make you look humourless as fuck.

Labour not in power but get some sums wrong - needs to be scrutinised to death.

Prime Minister burns the economy in a week "Let's wait and see"

🤡
I didn't but in the same way Diane Abbott is, he's a Cambridge graduate. It doesn't mean everything and despite her being ridicule for fun, she's certainly not thick, just different skills to numbers. I'm a firm believer that anyone with an Oxbridge degree is smart on some level.

Nice to see how selective you were, having clearly searched my messages for her name, to point score and referenced an obvious joke, versus the one I've quoted where I defended Diane for the same reason. That post didn't get ridiculed in the same way, because guess what she's not Tory. The difference is I can be balanced unlike most of you on this cesspit with cheap pack mentality.

Still living rent free in your head Odrivel. Have you noticed how I never respond to your inane drivel posts until you directly quote me? Keep trying some day you'll get promoted to bar manager.

Nowhere near as selective as the standards you hold different political parties to.
Really? I think I'm the only poster on this thread who has admitted to being open to vote either way at the next GE. I'll judge on what I see from now until then and read the manifestos. I'd say 99% of others know who they're blindly voting for already and wouldn't vote the other way even if it promised to deliver everything they wanted.

Happy you approve. I prefer to think of it as backing my own opinion rather than being a sheep and not fussed if i dont receive 50 likes from the echo chamber. It is a forum which if we all thought the same would be fairly pointless.

But it would be lovely to have a perpetual, never-ending group hug.

It would be like the Johnsons.

You're part right.

I'd say 99% of us already know we're not voting for the incompetent, corrupt, law breaking clowns intent on destroying the country to enrich themselves and their mates .

I was thinking about voting for the Monster Raving Looney Party next time out, as sort of a protest vote, but have now come to the conclusion the Tories at the moment are making them seem entirely reasoned and rational.

That’s not true. I’ve admitted I’m open to vote both ways at the next GE. It’s either Lib Dem or Labour. Whoever has the best chance of getting my sitting Tory MP out.

Grendull back with the homoerotic fantasies again. Still can’t work out if you’re homophobic so think I’ll be insulted somehow by you fantasising about me in a homosexual way. Or you yourself are a suppressed homosexual with the hots for a taller more handsome man, namely me, and see this as some sort chat up line, in a very weird and obsessed way. Would it help if I clarify my position? I am neither a homophobe or homosexual so as a consequence of that I’m neither insulted or interested.

I have it on good authority that using nicknames like Grendull may sound good in your head but they just make you look humourless as fuck.

I will most likely not vote Labour at the next election so you con't throw that at me.

If you're on the fence between Labour and Tory during this shit though then it's pretty obvious where your heart lies.

Why should I give equal consideration to a criminal government sending the economy down the toilet?

We’re back to the point Emily Matis was making in her resent lecture. If you can find 50 economists who say something is a bad idea and only one who says it’s a good idea to portray the opposing opinions as equal opinions is a false equivalence because it doesn’t reflect how out of kilter the one opinion is from the 50. Okay that example was on a different subject but it isn’t surprising that the one economist anyone can find to say anything good about the mini budget also happens to be the one economist that they could find to say the other thing was a good idea. As it happens.
