One goal in 4 games (5 Viewers)

Yet apparently it’s our defence that’s the problem. 8 goals all season. Major issue.

I think it’s probably the defence and the attack that is the issue…and the less said about the midfield the better.

it’s gonna be a long season.

I agree been saying it since the hull game. Worst thing is. City fans seem delusional now thinking will be alright. We’re almost a 1/4 through the season and I’ve not seen enough to suggest will finish out the bottom 3

Careful, you'll be accused of being negative because Forest, games in hand, we outsung the opposition and we're gonna be fine
And we haven't put out our strongest team yet, when we have O'Hare and Hamer back, and of course we will not suffer another injury or suspension for the rest of the season....

Or not have a player sold in January.

I can see a scenario where that happens.

Get O'Hare back, he plays well for a few games. Burnley then snap him up in January to help with their promotion push. We're left pretending to pull a replacement out from under a rock, despite also being the ones willingly pushing the sale through anyway.

Before these 4 games our number of goals scored wasn't a concern.

Since then, we've had 3 clean sheets.

Need to find the balance.

robins has been setting up not to lose rather going for the win. Which considering we’re bottom and only won 1 in 10 is a worry

Totally agree. Although the alternative is that we do lose most weeks, which we were doing before his latest defensive style.

Maybe it's better to wait till we have a full strength squad before we consign ourselves to div 1

We are nowhere near the same exciting side as last year playing on the front foot .We are very slow in our movement and don't look like scoring enough goals to get us out of the bottom 3.What has changed since last year we've only lost Maasten and Hyam. Obviously no ohare and Hamer hasn't helped.

I think you have answered your own question. No Hamer, O'Hare or Hyam who were three of our top five players last season. As a result we have changed how we play. We aren't trying to play a passing game any more, instead it is just about lumping it up to Gyokeres and hoping he dominates their defense. When he doesn't like yesterday we are toothless.

Some think ‘the box’ is the way forward, I’m not sure. In Palmer and O’Hare we have two non scoring number 10s which puts enormous pressure on Gyokeres.

They're not non scoring. And no point playing a second striker if they hardly ever see the ball.

The alternative is a flat back 4, which is starting to make sense as we only have two decent central defenders.

What a pathetic stat to drag out. Honestly don’t know why I’m surprised as it’s you.

I agree it is pathetic - you of course think he’s the best player we’ve had since the premier league don’t you?

Irrespective of what I think, to create an absolutely redundant stat to try and justify your agenda is desperate at best. But again, it’s you, so I shouldn’t be surprised.

He's certainly one of the best, not as good as Maddison, who you aldo didn't rate? Not as good as Foden either btw.

Chris Wilder said clearly all we do is hoof it for Gyo to chase and we only scored because one of their defenders forgot the plan to stop it. Stop Gyo you stop everything and then just wait for a gift at the other end.

With nobody else in the side capable of threatening anything it's all we've got. Maybe on one of Hamer's rare outings from the Tavern it'll get mixed up

Im not sure why it’s a redundant stat

What about your stupid Callum Maycock point you like to make?

As usual you change the rules to fit whatever narrative you're pushing at the time.

Er I’m not changing the rules. He’s played most games this season - we haven’t won any

Well you though someone in the team was the worst player ever to put on a sky blue shirt. Now who was it? Oh yes

He hadn't played in a pretty long time and had also come off badly from Covid. What is Biamou doing now?

Now only 31-years-old, Biamou is currently without a club and it’s unclear at the moment what his next step will be.

No matter what happens though, it’s clear from his social media that the player still has plenty of love for Coventry, going by the tweets he has interacted with and the Instagram pictures he’s shared over the years.
