BBC unbiased? i suppose you’re being ironic. The political arm of the BBC has for years shown complete contempt for democracy and any grass root initiative. Favouring the interests of the Sky Blue fan base over the ruthless commodification of a community asset by a London franchise would therefore be extremely uncharacteristic.

Must be why CWR published that report on Friday about the council’s secret Wasps bailout meeting which single-handedly got the meeting called off. Typical BBC bias.

Rather than bbc bias. It’s plan to see Clive has a stick up his arse about wasps. He has never allowed criticism and cutting people off for not having the same views as his is a abuse of us positions

He commentates on them - he won’t be able to comment on “political” aspects of the situation

In fairness there are two BBCs really, the national news which is full of pro Tory editors and broadcasters and the local which still fulfils the public service remit.

Constant I beleive. But can take a day or two to show new info.

For example it showed the wasps foundation as both dissolved on one page and active on another.

If anyone’s got an API key there’s a stream of company information you can access.

" IF we somehow survive to take our place in the championship, I’m struggling to see how we can stay in Coventry as there is already a very good championship team in Coventry?"

See they always cared about Cov Rugby <3

But what they are saying is correct essentially

Didnt have you down as a conspiracy theorist. The only reason the Telegraph did not run storys is financial, Wasps would have pulled advertings and they would have lost revenue. The BBC has been accused of impartiality as reporters have included opinion and not just facts in its media. When they stick to facts and let the viewer decide its fine and thats for both the left and right.

Off piste slightly, but what use is that Henley site if Wasps disappear from the area? Will whoever owns it (I know it's not Wasps) be able to sell the land for housing (and make a tidy profit?)

It got passed over to another wasps director and name changed to just being a performance centre and removed wasps name from it.

I guess they would run it for a few months say its not viable and then it becomes houses. I sure at one.

Im sure a while ago a wasps director was made a director for a housing construction company.... (cant remember who)

Meeting called for all WHL employees
CoventryLive understands that 'all WHL employees' have been called to a meeting today.

Two meetings will be held simultaneously at 2pm, one at the Coventry Building Society Arena board room and one at the Henley-in-Arden training ground base.

The meetings are being held following the previous meetings 'which advised everyone of a notice of intention to appoint administrators'.

It is understood that attendance isn't mandatory, as information will be delivered on a letter to employees, but representatives from FRP - the club's financial restructuring partner - will be on hand to answer questions and 'provide support'.

Literally everything to blame here;

Covid (usual VV drivel)
Brexit
Sisu
Ukraine Russia War.

Well everything other than the actual root cause. Incompetent management and a failed business strategy which was doomed from day one

Vulgaris really does put the capital D into deluded

So the question is are FRP there in an advisory role on restructuring the debt or there as administrators. Although the company offers both services looking at their website the statement seems to suggest the former. But given the timetable of intent to appoint an administrator you would think the latter. Maybe they’ve been onboard for a while and now their duties are changing. Maybe that’s how we were able to get reassurance for Wednesdays game.
