We were awful, but we won. How many times have we played teams off the park and lost?
Its 3 points and a W. Let’s move on.

Just seen the referees face when he had to give the pen, because the linesman flagged for it.
Bet he gave him a right bollocking after the game.

Or "Keith, you give that and you'll be sleeping in the spare room tonight."You can see the Sheffield United player turn to the referee and react when he gave it.
'Keith, this wasn't part of the plan!'
Didn't see any and we are in carpark a ? Was it by the casino or something ?
Two left feet, problem being that he’s naturally right footed. What’s he got?
I’ve got a feeling that the manager is worried about his player being retrospectively banned. Also said in his post match interview it was a great tackle
Not buying that we were 'awful' last night. Created little sure, but thought we competed well, and apart from the two speculative efforts that hit the woodwork, SU didn't do much. In fact, did they create a genuine chance all night?
Cancelled each other out for the most part, and hardly a classic, but I didn't think we were awful at all.

Not sure how it works but think Godden v Fulham and the “dive” and the subsequent ban.
If I were MR I’d be putting an email together to the FA or FL or whoever. It’s also a better way to get Stroud a black mark rather than a straight complaint. Refs cover each others backs and a complaint often backfires over the next few matches.
All that said, our players need protecting. About 18 months ago Dabo was a different player until he was repeatedly hammered by opposing defenders. He’s now worried about taking players on (IMO) and had lost a yard of pace.
Get the cheating SUFC player a long ban.
I think we were pretty poor on the ball for the first hour TBF. I’m not sure we even had a shot until Hamers attempt was saved.
Allen was breaking the lines with his running in the first half but we just delay the pass or its executed poorly.Eccles and Allen just don’t pass forward or break the lines at all, there was a huge gap and Godden and Györkeres just had to chase big lumps up field cos there’s no options ahead of the midfield.
I get why Robins does it, we’re on a crap run and he wants to stop the run so he plays three hardworking CMs in a flat three and it works (we didn’t same first season up) but by his it kills any fluency and is horrible to watch.
Clearly excessive force and out of control. Would love to hear Mr Strouds explanation for why it wasn’t a red card. I think he would say he wasn’t off the floor.Cos he got booked it can’t be appealed I think. Godden fooled the ref so that’s what he got. Ironically if the ref had done what he was going to and not even penalised him i think he’d be banned retrospectively. But the ref has saved him.
I thought their best chance came immediately after the 2nd time they hit the post. I Really think he should have scored the header. Not buying that we were 'awful' last night. It's hard sometimes but you have to remember that Sheffield United would have gone top of the league last night with a win
Makes me chuckle when you see away fans saying “worst team we have played” like they are some kinda wonder team.
Both teams were equally as shit as each other.
QP Rangers makes me feel very uneasy6th in current form table, with 3 goals scored and 1 conceded...crikey
Surprisingly Sheff utd and Norwich are 22nd and 23rd, with the baggies at the bottom.
Top of current form is Swansea, who have conceded 10 goals in last 6 games (13 scored).
At yet they haven’t won in 5.It's hard sometimes but you have to remember that Sheffield United would have gone top of the league last night with a win
palmer pen shout at around 38 second in.
No idea what the ref saw as defender makes no attempt to play ball and turns in to palmer.
I don’t think it’s a penalty.
Palmer’s lost control of the ball. I think he runs into the defender more than anything.
I still think the ref was appalling.
100%.Yep, it looked more of a penalty last night, but not that much in it on the replay.
Gyokeres foul definitely was though
It was also kicking off near the memorial where the ambulances park. Looked like a small group with hoods up came from the direction of the casino and just started on random cov fans. A few cov lads then jumped in, most of the sheff lads then ran off but two stayed and got right battering. It was not nice for my 2 kids to witness sat in the car.near the scrapyard. They started it but came second best. Idiots
But when their striker and fadz came together on the half way line its a free kick and a booking.I don’t think it’s a penalty.
