Obviously this won't apply across the board but it seems that in terms of social issues they're to the left but things like wealth are more important to them. But I guess when they've very little prospect of getting on the property ladder etc stuff like that will matter to them.
Gen Z are more right-leaning than you might think - in this economy who can blame them?

Part of me feels (or maybe hopes) that that would be the straw that broke the camels back and we'd actually start seeing movement - protests, civil disobedience etc.
The reality show style of Boris' presentation would surely appeal to them as well.
Some pundits on sky this afternoon carrying on that the market is too powerful and plenty of shit for the Central Banks.
Now of course Pension funds are free currently to buy bonds/gilts but I'd wary of the desire/, direction of both Boris and Sunak trying to drive/ induce the industry to direct it into British /home ventures without a veto regards risk of doing this personally.

Some suggestion tonight that Boris’ team are trying to bullshit there way to 100 votes by saying they’ve already got 100. The idea it builds momentum. Trouble is MP’s that would have been considered a given for Boris are lining up to to back Rishi Sunak. Obviously we won’t know until we know but Boris bullshitting for personal gain is bang on form.

Read an article yesterday talking about this and how Truss (Johnson) supporters bluffed Truss to victory by overstating her support and popularity and that this is what’s going on with Johnson now. MPs/members just jump on the bandwagon. Embarrassing really if true, but wouldn’t surprise me

Someone has just pointed out that team Boris keep listing Shaun Bailey on their list as a backer. Shaun Bailey is a member of the London assembly not a member of parliament. He doesn’t have a vote. Might be some merit to this Bullshitting the numbers story.

Not sure how Sunak will come across during an election campaign. I don't care that he has money (does he want to buy a football club?), but he does say things every now and again that are out of touch with the average working man. The non Dom and US stuff is an easy stick, too.
I'd have been (relatively!) comfortable with him as leader, but his desperate lurch to the right towards the end of the last contest to curry favour suggests he isn't that principled himself!
