He didn't scuff it he tried to take it round keeper and I can see why. Didn't see you seething at Allen putting a shot right at the keeper from close range

You are always crying. Been doing it for years and tonight no different. You think of we are losing the players must be abysmal and that's just not true.
That Allen volley back to the keeper after he fluffed his punch. My phone nearly went at the wall.

Palmer and O'Hare looked great. It shows the difference in class compared to someone like Allen. The link up for the penalty foul was a taste of what both could do.

Allen’s effort was poor too. Drop the bollocks about ‘crying’, or perhaps go after everyone else making the same points.

Go with me to a game and see for yourself

We haven't had a genuine flair player for a long time and I think we've forgotten what it's like. You have to let players like Palmer try things and experiment. Might not come off 10 times in a row, but you only need it to work a couple of times a game.

Personally I'd start kane at rwb now dabo is out and keep Eccles ticking over imnewr midfield
Did OK on his wrong side when he came on considering.

I think Rotherham deserve a bit of credit: they're not a bad side who came with a plan and really should have won. Yes they timewaste and cheat, but that's what caught up with them eventually. I think our attitude of "should be beating these" is arrogant against a team who know what they are doing, are top 10 now, and played some decent stuff.

The Palmer talk. Lazy is a ridiculous thing to say for starters.

At the moment 1 in 5 (forward) passes come off. But he’s in there popping in progressive passes. Cheeky little round the corner ones etc. Let’s not be ready to slate him already for fuck sake. Absolute classic.

Thought Eccles did well at rwb, I was ready to call it a day when he went there.

Not sure why Fadz went off, was he injured?

Some decent individual performances again but really sloppy early on and for second goal. Thought Panzo made a difference offensively when he came on. Hamer covered every blade of grass and still looked sharp at the end. Allen's running into space and running defensively was phenomenal. If only he was clinical in front of goal. Palmer will get loads of assists. He can definitely unlock defenses. Some nice turns and flicks. Misplacing passes will be the other side of the coin. Vik was more of a team player today.
Injuries are worrying. Both Waghorn and Dabo looked like muscle pulls/tears and although Eccles recovered to carry on, he seemed to jar his knee on landing. Gonna have to dig dip over the next few weeks.

He's a massive upgrade on Shipley though. It's one of the few areas of the pitch we actually improved slightly in the summer.

He is, but apparently if you think he was poor tonight you’re crying because of the result. Go back and see what I said about him after the Hull game-it’s bollocks.

Palmer doesn't need to be doing the 60 metre sprints back to defend, especially in a box midfield with O'Hare or Allen next to him. Perhaps people are conditioned to what O'Hare has been doing for us over the last couple of seasons. But O'Hare is an absolute freak for the defensive work he puts for an Attacking Midfielder. Palmer does plenty of work too but it's in the opposition half and over shorter distances, closing down and putting tackles in.

Our game was hampered by losing Waghorn early and changing tactics. I still think he’s got a lot to offer, but understand genuine reasons why many may think to the contrary.

It seems like the first time for a while that we’ve actually tried to play decent football. I may be deluded but that for me is having more key players back and wanting to play decent stuff. There’ll be more fluidity soon once they’re used to playing with each other (O’Hare, Hamer, Palmer, Sheaf….)
The Shef Utd game was brilliant coz we won, but it was a footballing non-event! We offered nothing. I get it though as we were out of form and needed to stifle the opposition.
Robins is playing the best hand he has at the time.

Delighted to get the point, but in reality we shouldn't have been in a position of being 1-2 down.

How that ref gave that pen is beyond me 🧐🤣 not seen a clear view, but just shocked he gave it after his performance for 90 mins.

Palmer set both goals up I think?

Not a disaster. I didn't see anyone have an absolute shocker, but hey, that's just my opinion.

I'd like to see what happened for that second goal of theirs again, either he was way offside (which I don't think he was), or the whole defence decided to take a nap at the same time! We did actually play some decent stuff in fairness, but not good enough to win this one. Onwards and upwards.

I said said looks lazy to some.

Personally I think their is a great player in him.Just need to unlock it.

Think Bristol fans said he has a great pass in him. But can frustrate with stupid passes
Has to be a "Tries through-balls often" PPM.

Palmer can sit meditating in the centre circle for 80 mins for all I care. He has that ability to make something happen that we have missed

The thing is if he didn't help set up 2 goals the bedwetters would be going crazy at him right now.

In reality even if he didn't set up both goals he had a good game actually.

Looked stonewall to me.
