Good night out in the centre after too, really like Oxford, yeah let's play thereCan we play in Oxford, saves me a load of travel time
Fisher, couple of heavies, and two guests popped into changing room area before game (about 1:30 ish).Any juicy bits leaked out today or potential investors in the posh seat's?
I suspect it might not be in the council's gift to open the stadium. But if ACL go into admin, the administrator would presumably be able to do so.Cant see the council not opening the gates. The bad PR alone is worth spending whatever it takes to get it open. Can’t imagine matchday costs are north of £100k and they can always try and recoup from any buyer or the club later if they really want.
There was a very handsome older sky blue supporter in the posh seats….
no leakage, he seems to have got that under control….
IF IF IF we have to play elsewhere for a few games, isn't the obvious choice St Andrews? Seemed to work OK when we were there in 2019-21.
Haven't they already said no to us though?IF IF IF we have to play elsewhere for a few games, isn't the obvious choice St Andrews? Seemed to work OK when we were there in 2019-21.
Maybe I missed that.... could that be a negotiating tactic to drive up the rent/match costs?Haven't they already said no to us though?
Apparently it is unavailable anywayMaybe I missed that.... could that be a negotiating tactic to drive up the rent/match costs?

When Fisher came to take his seat before the game, he had the biggest, self satisfied smirk on his face- noticible even for him.

Pissed up again?Surely it’s the CBS Tuesday or nowhere. How on earth can they reticket potentially 13000 supporters ( even though loads won’t go) plus those who have bought tickets plus hospitality, away fans etc. unless it’s Turn Up and Sit Anywhere which would be almost impossible.
Fisher sat in his usual spot with Boddy today. There were no “guests” with them. When Fisher came to take his seat before the game, he had the biggest, self satisfied smirk on his face- noticible even for him.

And remember it's not just locking us out. There's businesses based there including the hotel and casino that would have to shut as well as exhibitions scheduled for next week.Cant see the council not opening the gates. From a business perspective what is being said about the NEC there is very true. The NEC Arena is also shutting shortly for an extended period to have the roof raised and a big capacity increase. Even just in terms of music events adding the hall to the Utility and Resorts World Arenas would mean they are running three venues with a nice capacity bump between each one.NEC Group and Jon Dawkins are at the ground today talking to SISU about buying the club and the stadium. NEC want the club here because its regular income and want the exhibition hall because of capacity issues at the NEC.

Of course we don't know what will happen Monday and if the council, or anyone else really, will be in a position to do anything so that will be where the uncertainly is coming from. Until we know what happens with ACL its hard for anyone involved to make plans with any certainty

Not convinced much business is being done on a Saturday afternoon at a game though.
There will be stories galore circling next week and speculation will be rife but my one hope in all of this is that Ann Lucas or any of her close associates read this forum, so they will hear our message “well done Ann, and in your moment of madness, look what a fuckin mess you made”.
