We need to dig out results and not crow we are a great football team. This season is about survival and that’s it - Paxman thinks we are one of the best teams and that guy thinks we are the best midfield i the league

Until yesterday we'd been on a decent run after a poor start. We'd stopped conceding so easily and were 6th or 7th in the form table.

Yesterday was garbage, but it transpires there's been a bug in the camp and we could only play Vik for 20 minutes.
Defensively we were poor, hopefully we go back to what worked so well against Cardiff, Stoke nd Sheff utd.

You have to discount yesterday though due to the circumstances.

We aren’t going down.

As things stand it’s entirely fair to say we have a very strong front 5, capable of competing with most, if not all, in this league.

Quite significantly, they haven’t played together once yet. One has been injured until two games ago, one has been suspended twice and one isn’t yet match fit.

Our defence clearly has weaknesses and out wing backs are definitely going to hold us back, but not enough to mean we’re relegated.

Lose Gyokeres and/or COH and things look harder for the second half of the season, but we’ve played without COH and won (albeit ugly) and if Gyokeres goes we’d have to replace.

That MR Out narrative ready to be pushed?
