Christ I had a dream we re-signed Max. Is he training with us?

Sorry, can someone explain the derision aimed at Max Biamou?

I don't believe I was on this particular ship when it sailed.

Because he is a footballer with very limited ability but was loved because he worked hard. The fact he went to Scotland and barely played a minute sort of proves that.

I absolutely loved him as a player. Will be looked back upon fondly. I think he did well at this level as well considering his limited ability. Better goal rate than Waghorn and not too dissimilar to Walker.

Apologies if it’s been mentioned in the above thread but aren’t we under a transfer embargo? Surely we couldn’t sign him even if it wasn’t an embarrassingly poor idea.

Whether you are pro-Max, anti-Max, indifferent from his first spell or whatever. This really would not be a good sign of where we are at. I am fairly confident it's all hot air, but it is the kind of mental thing we have done in the past.

I don’t think there’s a cat in hell’s chance we will sign him, but there’s always another angle.

Some workplaces have good atmospheres, people like to be there, the staff give a darn and don’t treat you like a number.

Word gets round: “Good place to be that, they look after you”

That the club has given Max somewhere to be to get himself fit to get his Burton contract shows the rest of the players that there is a bit of loyalty and decency and ethics is CCFC.

Things like this are important when recruiting and retaining different players in the future.

Also, some of the young lads will get to work with an older pro who has played from French amateur to scoring in the Championship.

That some people on here get so het up and abusive because we are letting a loyal ex player train with us says a lot about them.

There are a lot of tools on here. I feel a bit sorry about the people that have to deal with them day-to-day.

Fun Fact.

I never saw Biamou lose a header

NOT that I’d advocate signing him (3 years ago, maybe) but what is McNulty doing now?

30 and without a club.

Did he become a bit of a gargler like Thornton or have I got that wrong?
