Let’s not get ahead of ourselves because of one very defensive performance. We were on the back foot all game, had there been another 10 mins I’m sure they would have got one, they were very unlucky with that one that went over the bar.

They are clearly a better team than us, it was one win and holding on to dear life

Panzo has been a different player in the last couple of games. Rewind 2-3 weeks and his headers were cringeworthy. Against Blackburn he brought the ball out from the back brilliantly, with good decision making. He’s been dependable in the last couple games and a real asset.
Still a young man though who will make mistakes.
Some (me included) might have been hoodwinked from the pre-season games against weaker teams & the shot at Sunderland to think he would be scoring more, but that’s unfair.

Seriously not my intention Hutch; as above I said Eccles is playing out of position - and that I see him next in line to rotate into the DCM position. Not writing off a player who has potential.
