Whoever did that pass to Vik in the second half (I think O'Hare?) Should get a 10.

The back 3 played well again. Burroughs has enough about him to be pushing to start more games. Palmer is a good watch, so gifted with the ball and puts himself about. Sheaf poor at times with the ball but does a lot of the ugly stuff well.

Hamer sat in well, got a bit frustrated but kept his head and all in front of him. Vik is a monster but just wish his head would come up more, he plays with blinkers on but is key to how we play.

Allen is really finding his feet and looks a championship player. His game is improved every aspect he looks better. Great energy and got a deserved rest at the end. Thought overall he was our most influential player today.

Fantastic win, players getting used to system and now we look a very confident side with or without the ball.

Burroughs has a great debut and looked like a real prospect. 9
Wilson earnt us 2 points with a brilliant save at the death 9
Fadz was captain invisible 9
Everyone else 8.5

MR 10
To a man that was incredible.

As I keep saying fir last 2 years. We play better with 1 striker and with box midfield.

To a man incredible thoroughly deserved win. Created chance after chance. Should have won by more than 1.

We were good and another solid performance against a fancied side but some of the scores are very results orientated. Eg the young full backs being given 9s is generous imo. I'm made up for both of them and it will help us and them for future, but if it wasn't for poor finishing by both Sema and Sarr it could've been very different. Lots if sloppy passing in the middle from Sheaf and Gus too.

I thought the 3cb, Allen Palmer and Vik were 8s I'd give the others 7s

Agree with this. Eccles should be rotating into one of the CDM positions (he's not a RWB), Burroughs now first in line for rotation at RWB/LWB. The team looked more balanced with Kane at RWB and he should have been on earlier.

Re Kane I think he is still building match fitness and getting up to speed after his operation. But shouldn't be too far off now.

It could be an 80 year old woman behind that account for all you know mate!
But it's a nice autumn day, enjoy a stroll around Coombe and forget about it.

It is a beautiful day took my lad to football this morning, but they got hammered. Well even if he or she is 80 and female I will just have a stern word with her 🤣

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves because of one very defensive performance. We were on the back foot all game, had there been another 10 mins I’m sure they would have got one, they were very unlucky with that one that went over the bar.

They are clearly a better team than us, it was one win and holding on to dear life

It really wasn't, we defended well but rarely got opened up by a team full of big money players. A perfect away performance

And for all of their possession, we looked far more dangerous on the counter and had the better chances overall, especially in the first half.

Wilson 7 no complaints
Eccles 6 effort out of position
Burroughs 7 encouraging
Rose 7
Fadz 7
Panzo 7 did well
Hamer 6 sloppy passing
Sheaf 7 glue
Allen 7 big shift
Palmer 6 in and out but sloppy
Vik 8 best lone striker in division

sat in home end with a mate, away fans10
Baffled at a 6 for Palmer.

He looks a real player.

No way the joint worst player on the pitch.
