Yes, he's been much better coming on for the last 20-30 in the second half when the game is stretched and there is more space to exploit.
I'm not convinced Palmer and O'Hare work in a box, you don't get the same intensity of the high press as when Allen and O'Hare are there, and both players want the ball in similar areas to turn at the defence. And neither really make runs in behind off the ball. On paper they should be brilliant, two skillful mercurial talents, but in reality you need that bit of variation to create space and move people around.
