Collective pats on backs…..my voice has gone a bit croaky tonight though. Block 18 was pretty good.
Shame we have to wait so long for the next home game…..

The noise today was incredible, my voice has gone. We started loud, got the goal and it just got louder and louder. That second half was something to behold.

In front of a big crowd as well. A win and an atmosphere that would be hard to beat anywhere in England.

Just great to have a performance and a win for a big crowd. It feels like so many times in the past when there was a big crowd the match was a bit of a damp squib.

Some on here (me included) were worried that the extra policing of the naughty corner, including the different coloured season tickets, would affect the atmosphere.

Looks like that's not the case.

Absolutely cracking atmosphere today.

There’s no place in football for those comments

There's still empty seats in the corner though. Frustrates me.

Swings and roundabouts.

Maybe some of the more vocal fans are now sitting/standing in other parts of the ground, and that contributed to the overall mood today.

It was noticeable that chants were starting in the Telegraph stand today, not just joining in with the naughty corner.

Had a mate who works at the FAI and lives in Liverpool come to their first CCFC game today in block 16. We made a hell of an impression. Floor was bouncing at a few points.

Yep I know others have moved across to the away fans in the West Stand.

First went in 1969 when I was 6. All through the first division days, packed in tight under the old West End stand and the noise in there could be deafening, probably as the acoustics held it all under the concrete of the roof. But I have to say, the home atmosphere the last two seasons has been easily the best I’ve ever known. Big change from only a few years under under Slade and Venus, about 7k, mostly moaning about the toxic owners and crap players. Similarly the away support now is in a different league, used to be pretty pathetic, now pretty impressive.
