Chap? Sounds like you are the type of bloke to hang around in the upper circles with people like Doug! Hopefully you aren't trying to ruin his reputation even before he has begun with us!!! All I can hope and wish with this acquisition is that Doug will take some time to listen to the fans and take our views on board!!!!!

Has somebody bought a "how to fuck around and find out" on forums?

this chap is absolutely one of SISU's investors whom has claimed to be a separate entity, who SISU can name as a person and claim to be a new owner, in order to manipulate ownership of the stadium, and engage in negotiations that were previously closed off to them due to breakdown in relationships.

If this was a legitimate sale the new owner would have been all over communicating this with as much positive publicity as possible. interviews, releasing it at a reasonable time- to generate momentum and excitement. alongside explaining their vision for their ownership.

instead, it has been a statement orchastrated by SISU, with no to little focus on the buyer. released without interviews and exciting buildup, done so strategically based on what is happening tomorrow.

it doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Im hoping your wrong, but deep down think your right.

He hasn't just "put in a bid", the club is his once efl approve. As for "random stranger", were you expecting a celebrity? Graham Norton maybe?

A local businessman with no ties to football or to the local area but with tight ties to sisu buys the club and everyone buys the shit from Sisu PR

Read both statements again. It looks not like Seppala is walking off into the sunset, but still working in partnership with King to try and get the stadium. Just much easier to argue if it's a 'local businessman' offering 'regeneration' and has clearly already got a lot of the fanbase on side.

Ashley put in £1.2 million so we could continue playing. What did SISU put in?
Doing exactly what they were asked to do on here many many times

No, nobody has bought anything. We're waiting to see how this pans out with cautious optimism.

If the mad-eyed flat earthers are right, then it will all emerge very quickly. Until then, those of us who don't have a personal agenda will just make a brew and wait a while.

Pretty much this, no one is celebrating but the sensible folk are just saying let's actually see what happens

Deep down are you actually quite disappointed that Mike Ashley probably won’t be our owner now?

Fat Man Chino Wearer's Union innit. Like the one for goalkeepers but more time lurking around the Pizza Hut buffet.

On a more serious point-a little bit yes, if it turns out to be the case. It was clear from more than one source around the Derby speculation that he wanted to get back into football and saw an EFL club as one where he could invest without running into stupid money.
