Was speaking to a Watford fan at work this week, they have a really nice initiative that allows fans who may be struggling financially to get to games whilst raising money for charity.
As a season ticket holder, if you know you can't make a game then you can email the club and let them know, they then sell those seats super cheap (£5-10), through a community initiative which provides people with access to tickets who may not otherwise be able to afford it. The money raised from the initiative then goes into a charitable pot, ours for example could go into the season ticket fund that I've seen on here.
I live in London and although I make as many games as I can, there are times midweek for example where work commitments get in the way, my seat has been paid for but it's going to waste, I'd be much happier knowing that my seat got used, perhaps by somebody who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to go and that the small amount they do pay is reinvested into our season ticket fund.
Just seems like a really sensible initiative, if anybody has any idea of how we might be able to explore this with the club, I'd be happy to take it forward.
