Christin McVie of Fleetwood Mac, a great loss.
The 'Mac' of Fleetwood Mac.

Wasn't a huge fan when I was fighting the punk wars in the late seventies, but as you get older you realise what songwriting craft really is.

Christine Mcvie. That's a choker.
Songbird a proper classic.
Anybody who grew up with vinyl must have owned Rumours.
I didn't. Couldn't stand what 'Fleetwood Mac' had become. A sad homogenized, Americanized purveyor of middle of the road soft pap. (IMHO of course).
Loved Christine's earlier work when she was a genuine blues artist with the likes of Chicken Shack (whose version of I'd Rather go Blind was just sublime).

I didn't like the new reinvented Fleetwood Mac either. Loved the 60's, original incantation of them with Peter Green and Man of the World is such a fab song.

I found the new Fleetwood Mac just bland unfortunately. Didn't like any of their songs or albums. I really couldn't abide the soft, middle of the road, pop rock that they had become.

You're obviously a man of Taste, Otis.

(They were a great band too, if you see what I did there).

Her and Rhea Perlman made a great pair of waiting staff. You'd actually enjoy being verbally abused by those two in exchange for a drink.
It was a truly great show all round in fact.
Rest well Kirstie.

She's not really dead though is she. She's a Scientologist, so if she is on the right rung of the ladder she is going to live for a thousand years plus
There's a few about in the celeb world, Otis. John Travolta & Tom Cruise spring to mind.

Yes love Cheers and currently watching all the episodes (alternating episodes with Frasier every night). Coincidentally just got to the point where her character takes over from Diane. Can’t find any recent decent sitcoms so well written as these. Apart from The Detectorists.

They are few and far between for sure.
