its not the same thing though is it. if you have an agreement with a company and that company still exists how do you end up with the agreement no longer being valid and a new one being required. Especially if we're supposed to believe the new agreement is on the same terms.

I don't see in what world you're in that situation and you're waiting for some paperwork so you decide to start the eviction process, block the youth game at the weekend and void access passes
This is sisu we’re talking about. If after all these years believe they have the club interest heart then quite frankly you are deluded. if sisu have no wrong doing in this, why no statement as we know. They love making statements when they believe they are in the right. Before jumping to conclusions just wait and see what happens

Back at you

nah not having it, the council as crap as they have acted they are still an electable body. it would be suicide if they signed a deal that would certainly kill the club
Jordan would not have made these comments if he could not back them up with evidence. Because of the legal issues it could land him in. The fact no one has come put and disputed his comments says it all in my opinion.

The council have acted shady before. They've shown they don't give a crap about us time and time again.

Ultimately we have to accept that the stadium is not ours and probably never will be. That worries me.

Logically, this is Ashley distressing the club so he can swoop in and pinch it. Surely. Otherwise, what a &@“&@@@@@@!!!

No need for an otherwise really. We've already got owners who are prepared to make us homeless for their own ends, we don't want new ones who'd do the same!

This was what I said originally. Same with Hoffman being involved too.

Multiple times Hoffman has been involved with shit like this as well.

I don't for a second believe SISU have anyones interest but their own at heart. It doesn't mean I believe Ashley and Hoffman are our saviours. They both have track records that leave a lot to be desired so when pretty much the first thing that happens under new stadium ownership is we're issued with an eviction notice I don't take it as a positive

You say SISU should immediately issue a statement yet have also rubbished the idea that Frasers should do the same. A statement from Frasers saying CCFC are welcome to continue playing at the stadium under existing terms would surely put pressure on SISU if that is the aim

We all suspected King was a ploy by Sisu to drive up the price of the club, so Ashley has responded. This is a game of business chess based on ownership of the club between a billionaire and a hedge fund with no money. Sisu are out of their league in this one but I would suspect that we will still play at the Ricoh against Swansea. Whoever is involved will have been negotiating over the weekend to sort the situation.
Sisu will batter him in court

"Either they sell to MA, or I suspect he will demolish the stadium and build his new HQ there. Coventry City Council must be entirely fed up with both Wasps and CCFC, so my guess is they will not care about the loss of either, and will simply see a new build for MA's offices as jobs for locals"

Why would he want to build a new HQ he has a vast HQ with acres of spare land in Shirebrook close to M1

Pardon my naivety, but can’t the Football League step in and do something? Aside from fine us, and deduct points.

I really would not put it past CCC to have sold us down the river and let Ashely turn the site in to a distribution centre. The powers at CCC have no remorse for the club and appear to actively want to screw it at every availability

"
Exactly what I predicted he would do.

Wasps had identified major issues at the stadium meaning it needed (at Least £20m) spending on it. That is why he got it so cheap.

I said he would buy it cheap, and then evict CCFC, as their 10 year lease expired the moment the ground went in to administration. Nobody believes the recent sale of CCFC by SISU, it was simply smoke and mirrors designed to try to persuade MA to give them a lease. Not happening.

So, will the real owner of CCFC now step forwards from out of the shadows?

Either they sell to MA, or I suspect he will demolish the stadium and build his new HQ there. Coventry City Council must be entirely fed up with both Wasps and CCFC, so my guess is they will not care about the loss of either, and will simply see a new build for MA's offices as jobs for locals.

Ironic really. Gave me more than a chuckle.

"
These were my big concerns too.

Unless he wanted to buy us which I've not seen any indication of that, it worried me greatly that it did not make buisness sense for him to be an arena owner.

tbf I suspect we'll get something, by somebody, in the near-ish future...

I'm not an expert but why would he want it there and have to knock everything else down when he could whack it somewhere with nothing on at all?

I've said this many times.

None of us actually know what is in the tenancy agreement.

It's probably very likely that both sides had protections written into it in the event of either party entering administration.

Right, so in conclusion, am I right in saying that we are either doomed, or this is just a box ticking exercise and everything's will be all hunky Dory by the weekend?

What part can’t you grasp?

sisu playing silly games as per. Ashley is calling sisu bluff not signing the new agreement. puts pressure on sisu to sign it. If sisu sign the agreement then it’s sorted.

Tends to be easier to get planning when replacing something.

I just dont get what his end game is. or CCC as they clearly put no safeguards in for us

The other thing, how much is Ashley personally involved now? Isn't it his son in law?

Let's run with this. What advantage to SISU would there be for them to not sign it, in this instance? Also, is the deal still for the same time period, or is it for longer?

To answer my own question from earlier, it now looks like all tickets have been taken off sale.
Enjoy Saturday girls and boys, could be our last game for a while.

So we can feasibly be kicked out of the league if SISU don’t sell up, presuming MA is actually interested.

Gotcha.

Still feel this is down to the cost of re-laying the pitch and potentially any legal action on lost revenue... MA playing hard ball telling Sisu they need to suck it up which may delay them signing a new lease.
