Gyokeres now 2 clear top scorer in Championship.
Only problem is, it advertises further, his unbelievable qualities, to all the Prem and Euro clubs with cash to spend.
Hope we can keep him, but at least if he goes, we should be able to demand a substantial fee.

Vik had a weaker game , but he's won us it with that bit of hard work at the end ..

Going to be very hard to keep the championships top scorer Screenshot_20221221_220337_Flashscore.jpg

Very hard earned and on the balance of play we deserved it. Still getting ourselves into trouble somewhat but on the whole playing some very nice football.

January really is crucial for determining which direction this season goes in.

I’m going to mention Jack Burroughs what a game he had, a superb prospect, another product from our academy, been told his brother George is better.
I'm probably in the minority but I thought he struggled at times. Whilst he is good off both feet, I thought tonight he really looked like a left footed player paying on the wrong side.

Baggies fans being complimentary about us and our play on their forum. One or two saying a draw would have been fair but no real complaints from them.

Where do they find these callers on CWR “alright Clive Oggy, <<insert rambling story about your day>> so yeah I missed the game then your commentary went out when Tavares came on and I didn’t hear the goal”.

Thanks for your input there mate.

Who would have thought that when we were adrift at the bottom of the table early in the season, that we would have 'done a forest' and now find ourselves in 8th place, still with a game in hand on most teams ?
I don't mind admitting, i was a worried boy (old git more accurately) early in the season, despite the many games we had in hand.
We had owners who had basically ended all funding and were desperate to sell the club (or the best players)...the situation looked pretty bleak.
Credit to Robins, Viveash, and all the players for an amazing turnaround (y)

Whilst I wasn't expecting us to be a game away from going 5th at this stage, I was fully confident we'd pull clear of relegation.

There were so many extenuating circumstances to that start to the season, we always had enough to climb the table.
