That’s on Robins (1 Viewer)

Swansea played their usual game, and were very good. 1st half, every attack they had they looked dangerous, and only some poor decisions from them, and last second blocks from us stopped them scoring.

2nd half they cut out the mistakes after their changes, and our last second blocks didn’t work as well, hence they got through 3 times.

frustrated at the end, but grateful for the point. Glad to hear the final whistle.

Still fuming

There is zero games manship.

1) ball boys should have been instructed to sit down and not give ball back. Every other team does it. That would have been few mins wasted.

2) Wilson should have wasted 30 to 45 secs every goal kick.

3) We should have gone to ground broke the game up feigning injury!

4) Substitutions. Why did Burroughs run off the pitch! Mind boggling.

This isnt an exhaustive list!! I could carry on!

The games manship.and shit hosiery other teams show is beyond belief.

It's ridiculous how professional players enough experience in the team didnt try to break their momentum, by any means necessary.

Our naivety is indefensible.
Great point
We didn’t fake one injury

definitely should have

Just because people point out where things go wrong doesn't mean to say we want change. However, i could see what was happening almost immediately on Saturday and was watching the bench AND the coaching staff and they sat there not even appearing in my opinion to been aware of what was happening in front of us. The press right from Gyokeres and O'hare stopped and then it spread across the team. That should of been addressed firstly by an experienced head in the side (except Bidwell i don't see one in that side when McFazdean is missing) or the coaching staff. Allen has the captaincy simply to take the toss and that's it. We desperately need some experience brought in January is my initial thoughts.

That back three needs some experience and I'd even contemplate bringing back Moore on Wednesday v WBA to offer some direction?

I don't agree with Robins on the doubling up on our wing backs... i didn't see that myself and if that's the case that would of created more space in the middle for the midfield four?

Players coasting, lack of leadership and the management TEAM allowed Swansea to get back in the game Saturday.
I agree. I’m sure Jamie Allen is a great lad with excellent table manners and all that but a leader he is not.

With Fadz out and Kelly not ready we have no one to organise the defence and defensive midfield.

(Ducking for cover) Would Moore be a more experienced and vocal and calming presence?

Id have Moore back in as hes just better all round keeper. I think hes more than paid the price of the clangers at Millwall and Hull.

Imagine sitting on the bench watching Wilson ahead of you. He must kick himself every second of the day.

I imagine Moore will be given the Wrexham game and provided it goes well will retain the jersey for the league.

For the defence, yes absolutely. I mentioned it on another thread but at one point Kane was looking for instructions from Wilson that didn’t come and seemed to just give up looking for them.

Similar pattern to Swansea.
Palmer clearly rusty but was ok with Allen going off he’d been poor
Then wanted Tavares for Hamer and wing backs to sit but he went Kelly. Again ok with that as Hamer was tiring badly - he was excellent for 60 mins
Tavares for Ohare was 10 mins late but the run from yok was excellent to win the game.

I think Hamer had a knock and it wasn't just him tiring. I hope he is ok for Boxing day as he and Sheaf were excellent.

I agree Allen was poor compared to Hamer and Sheaf as was O'Hare but we have to make allowance for the fact he is just back from a long injury.

All opinions yep his passing was off and he ran around well but didn’t impact the game at all. Normally stick up for him but he was ineffective last night
Don’t agree. He covered a lot of ground, as always, but he was also involved in a lot of link up play, made a lot of good runs (but passes didn’t come) and had shots on goal.
Hamer first half had pass after pass go straight to WBA, yet people seem to overlook it when it’s him. Admittedly he does affect the game more, but the applause for Allen when he came off may suggest that most appreciated the shift he put in.

bottom line is that none of the team were “poor” last night Imho

Any competent manager would have this team 10 points clear at the top. What's your point?

Not sure if you're for real or just a wind up merchant.

This is a team with one of the lowest budgets in the league and you are saying we should be 10 points clear at the top? Looks like some people have been Xmas partying day and night all week.

We have pretty average players and many of them inexperienced and young. Robins has done wonders getting them playing the style of football we do. He has done wonders with a small and low budget squad. And he has done wonders creating a team spirit where the whole squad plays for each other. Credit also to viveash and Lawrence

Are you for real?
Utterly clueless so another manager could come here with no money and a shit load of injuries and do better.
Name me one?
